“On the Path of the Lemons”

Amazingly kind owner. Michaela and her sister could not do more in helping us with arrangements, even coming to meet us off the ferry. The apartment itself was as photographed, spotlessly clean with stunning views. We enjoyed waking up to the donkeys on the path of the lemons; as this is where this beautiful apartment is located, half way between Minori and Maori.

“Amazing apartment, view and hosts!”

We had a local, authentic experience in this apartment. The place has a stunning view, is fully furnished with everything you might need (including beach towels & umbrella) and the hosts were absolutely amazing. They had fresh fruit and lemonade waiting for us, they gave us plenty of tips and told us about the area, the history of the place and their family. They really made our stay special. We had a 10/10 stay in this place. Regarding Minori - I think it's a great homebase for your visit to the Amalfi coast. It's calmer than the other places, has a few great restaurants, a nice beach and boats going to all the other hotspots for reasonable prices. I'm really glad we stayed here, and not Amalfi or Positano, because they were overcrowded and overpriced. With Casa Nonno Aldo and the great hosts, it made it a perfect stay.

“Amazingly peaceful and beautiful!”

Honestly I couldn’t ask for a better accommodation and a better host, Mrs. Michela is extra attentive and she has the apartment prepared with everything you can need. On our way arrival, she went to pick us up because the access is limited and challenging for tourist. She also had prepared a jar of fresh lemonade and some welcoming fruits. The balcony has wonderful views of the city of Maiori. Has a small memory Mrs Michela gave us a doll from Casa Nonno.

“Spectacular stay, a must visit”

Spectacular in every way. The hosts were wonderfully helpful. They went above and beyond to help and be welcoming. The fruit gifted saved us while travelling. The property is essentially a full apartment, including porch with spectacular views and laundry lines to hang your clothes properly after laundering. Comes with full kitchen. Has great views of Maiori and the coast. In the middle of the path of lemons. We even were woken by mules hauling lemons. Both Maiori and Minori are easy walks. There is a shuttle that can take you back up in the evening. It was so excellent that we are already trying to figure out how to return.

A charming stay in the heart of the Amalfi Coast! 🍋 Casa Nonno Aldo was the perfect base for exploring Minori and the stunning Path of the Lemons. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and full of character, with a lovely terrace to enjoy peaceful mornings and sunsets. The location is ideal – quiet, yet just a short walk to the center and the beach. Our host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Grazie, Michela!☀️ We would definitely come back!

“Beautiful views on the path of lemons”

The location of the appartment, the view from the balcony and the possibilty to safely park our big car (15€ per day) were really good! Michela provided us with fresh fruits and water in the fridge and a lot of informations around the area.

“A wonderful stay in Minori”

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Nonno Aldo. Michela and Fortuna were very welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of helpful suggestions and advice for our adventures. Antonio was a first class, reliable and informative driver to and from the airport. The accommodation is very well equipped and immaculately clean. There were lots of thoughtful touches and extras, everything you could possibly need. Lots of written information too, about the area, including bus and ferry timetables. Minori is a great base for getting around, and we liked how small and peaceful the town is after spending days in the busier crowded places. We caught the local bus which the locals use a few times and they were welcoming and friendly. The lovely balcony and spectacular views from Casa Nonno Aldo added to the enjoyment and peace we felt when we were there. Michela kept in contact, asking if everything was OK and making suggestions when she heard what our plans were, which was lovely. I would definitely stay here again, as well as being so enjoyable, it was very good value for money. A wonderful trip.

“Superb views and comfortable stay at Casa Vacanze Nonno Aldo”

An absolutely superb location on the 'Path of Lemons' high up on a ridge between Minori & Maiori, with a stunning view from an outdoor terrace towards Maiori. Excellent pre-arrival communications through WhatsApp by property owner Michela, and we were met and warmly welcomed by Michela's sister Fortuna who lives in the apartment immediately below. The compact unit is very clean, well equipped & comfortable - and several large bowls of fruit were provided. Thoroughly recommended!

Casa Nonno Aldo was the most wonderful we’ve had, it was a true home away from home. The owner & her sister are so helpful & kind. Gorgeous memories of early morning breakfasts or late night drinks on the balcony with the best views which are truly incredible.

The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. I had a long trip and it was very convenient to have laundry in the apartment. The location of the apartment is incredible. The apartment is on the path with lemon trees and the view from the balcony is just wonderful. The hostess is a very nice and helpful woman. It was very nice of her to treat me with fruit in the apartment.

If you are travelling to the Amalfi Coast… STAY IN MINORI! This is the most incredible place you will find with the most spectacular views of Maiori from your balcony. Michela is the loveliest lady who will go out of her way to ensure everything is perfect - giving you local bus times, ferry times, welcome treats and recommendations on what to do. Minori is a beautiful town with less tourists and has a more authentic feel than other towns along the coast. Couldn’t recommend it more! Thank you Michela!

Excellent friendly and informative host. Very attentive. Michela goes above and beyond in welcoming guests. The location is just stunning, right on the Path of Lemons midway between Maiori and Minori. The kitchen was nicely stocked and nice touches included fruit and home made lemon juice in the fridge,

It is a very lovely little apartment in a beautiful location

We had the best view of the Amalfi Coast, right from our balcony, just outstanding! Minori and Maiori can be reached easily and quickly on foot (15 minutes). My wife and I used to walk up the stairs from Maiori in the evenings as the climb and the Path of Lemons (historical walking trail that connects the town of Maiori and Minori) is too beautiful to take the minibus up. The stylefully furnished apartment with Italian flair really had everything you need for a longer vacation. There is no better starting point to explore the Amalfi Coast (just rent a scooter in Minori or take the ferry). The very friendly hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Michela was always available and gave us helpful tips. We would love to come back to the magical Casa Vacanze Nonno Aldo.  Absolute recommendation!! :))

We had the best time at this special place. The host was wonderful and welcomed us, made us feel so at home. The casa has beautiful views looking over Maiori, and out to sea. It is in a very peaceful spot, whilst being only approx 15 minutes into town. It is a very loved house that has been looked after and lots of details have been thought of. It was very clean and very cosy!

If you’re ever traveling through the Amalfi coast, STAY IN MINORI AT CASA NONNO ALDO. Michela is the best host you can ever ask for. Before our stay she offered many tips (even on how to get from Salerno to minori). She is the warmest, most genuine human being, and we can not recommend and praise her enough. Minori was also perfect as a “base”. It’s easy to travel around buy bus or ferry. Casa Nonno Aldo is on the path of lemons, and we enjoyed walking from minori to maiori. Positano and Amalfi was beautiful, but Minori is really something special, and we got the best experience because of Michela.

We really enjoyed the time we spent in this wonderful apartment. Very beautiful view from all windows. It was a great pleasure to cook in the kitchen with views of the mountains and sea. Thank you for the fact that the apartment had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. It was very nice that fruit was waiting for us upon arrival. Michela, thank you very much for your warm welcome. You are very good, kind people who are passionate about this apartment, your work and people.
