Unique architecture- absolutely stunning house and garden. Really wonderful location near the Walker Gallery and sculpture gardens.

“Feels more like a hostel experience”

I didn't like it very much and checked out early. The property is a nice historic house. The garden and ground floor public rooms are well maintained with antique furniture and painted walls and ceiling. No breakfast onsite, guest accommodation is ye olde quaint but basic.

The hotel has a lovely garden with a beautiful fish pond — a peaceful spot that really adds charm to the place. The room itself was quite small and a bit basic, which made the stay a little less comfortable than expected. However, everything was clean, and the outdoor area more than made up for the limited indoor space. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.

“I got to stay in a mansion for a bargain!”

I liked that there was tea or coffee anytime. The building was beautiful. The shared bathroom was huge with an old clawfoot tub. I'd prefer to share the bathroom over having a little mini bathroom. I didn't have time to appreciate the grounds other than through the window. The huge porch was lovely in the rain, but it was a bit cold outside to really make use of it. The old steam radiators were a big noisy but excellent for drying any clothes or towels.

Nice old mansion with very cute rooms and many cute common spaces.

This Heritage House is beautifully presented and furnished with magnificent gardens to stroll or sit in with a libation. Location was great, near Loring Park and other beautiful heritage architecture. A joy to come back to every day.

A really special place, the "mansion" is breathtaking, and the coachhouse, where I stayed, was also pretty cool! Loved the porch, the koi pond, the ducklings... There's no breakfast promised, but in fact there is coffee and fruit, snacks available, as well as wine in the afternoon!

“Will be returning again next time I come to Minneapolis”

Quaint as hell. Located close to uptown and between Whittier and Uptown, both of which I enjoyed. Exceptional people skills and patience on the part of the staff in person and over the phone.

“Vintage spot in Minneapolis/St Paul”

The room was in the carriage house of an old mansion. I liked its vintage and classic character and the general setting. The room had a good shower, but there was not much light to put on makeup, or much space for my toilettries. There was also no room to work inside the bedroom: no table to set the laptop, for example. There was, however, a common area just outside the bedroom with tables and chairs, coffee and tea, and a refrigerator for client use. What I found best was the ease with which I could get into my room, as I arrived late and there was no personnel in the facilities. I even had a welcoming note waiting for me. The bed was also very comfortable. All in all, it was a reasonable option for my needs.

This is such a unique place stay! I loved being in a beautiful, historic place. The (free!) wine in the evenings was an excellent addition that made it feel special! Truly a great place to spend some quality time with my partner.
