“Delicious breakfast--relaxed stay in paradise.”

The location, swimming pool and breakfast were fantastic! It's in a beautiful setting surrounded by tropical plants, birds and butterflies. We even saw some hummingbirds while eating breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Mindo.

We booked 3 nights initially but loved it so much we stayed an extra 2 nights. Stayed in the Garden Cabin which was wonderful with its own veranda and hammocks. The cabin was small but comfortable, a little too hot as no air con but the owners gave us a fan which was very good. The whole property was impeccably clean. The breakfasts were delicious and we even had a couple of packed breakfasts at 05:45 am. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was quite busy at the weekend but for three nights we had the place to ourselves, paradise. It has beautiful gardens and access to the river. It’s a 10-15 min walk into Mindo. Just perfect

I very rarely give a score of 10, but there’s really nothing they could improve on here. María and her team go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. I stayed in the cabin in a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, and had the best breakfast I’ve had on my trip. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Really nice place run by incredibly friendly people. The garden and surroundings are very beautiful, ideal to spot some birds. The walk to the bars and restaurants in the centre takes less than 10min.

“We loved our stay!”

The breakfast was exceptional and our group of seven so enjoyed eating it on the patio surrounded by lush vegetation. The staff was always friendly and welcoming. Maria went out of her way to accommodate our needs as we were traveling with a young toddler.

The property is very beautiful, close to the river, and a short drive from town. The room was comfortable for our purposes. The pool was lovely, although cold without the sun. The kids loved all the birds and butterflies. Breakfast was wonderful!

“A natural paradise!”

We loved everything about our stay! There might be more luxurious accommodations in Mindo, but I wouldn’t dream of staying somewhere else if we return in the future. Everything was so clean, quiet, and beautiful. It felt like we had the place to ourselves! One huge plus is that you really don’t need a birding tour if you stay here, we saw so many beautiful tropical birds and even had a few coatis scurry in front of our cabin. Staff was always helpful and going above and beyond, and the breakfast truly is exceptional.

Very beautiful, directly connected to the forest. From our cabin we could hear the river and woke up to the sounds of birds. Good breakfast and nice staff.

The nature and the surroundings are beautiful. Great breakfast and helpful staff, they are so nice and welcoming. Just enjoy their beautiful garden with a cup of coffee in the morning. Super clean rooms with the best showers I've had in ecuador. You will get good nights of sleep because it's so quiet at night. There is so much to do around mindo real. My favorite was the feeding of the colibris. You can do it yourself while they eat out of your hand. And I loved the hiking trails of the yellow house. I liked it so much that I returned a week later to spend another 4 days in mindo real.
