“Enjoyable budget option with some noise problems”

The hostel is fairly cheap, and you can save further money by using the kitchen to make your own meals. Cleanliness is good and the staff is friendly. The location is quite scenic, you can eat breakfast looking at the river or hummingbird feeders. Last but not least: The corgi is adorable and very friendly. I’m not a big dog person but I had to scratch his head every time I saw him. Be sure to pet him!

“A very good reasonably prices little hotel on the river bank”

The hotel is on the bank of a river, immersed in nature, a few minutes from the garden square. Quiet beautiful. English is well spoken and all services are right there. A family run business, you can order a private shuttle from and to the airport, they offer breakfast and the highlight: the owner Sabit and his son Antony run amazing birding tours! We saw so much with them! The property offers a very nice garden with birds and plants and a lovely atmosfere.

“Ideal Mindo location & very helpful staff”

The room was large and had a big balcony overlooking the river. The staff were really helpful, arranging taxis when needed etc. The breakfast was also good and it was nice looking out over the river

- the common areas were clean - the bed was comfortable - the location was near everything you need (although Mindo is small and everything is close). - breakfast was, in comparison to other accommodations in Ecuador, really good! - the area, with the feeding zone for the birds just in front of the hotel “restaurant” is amazing! 👌🏽the hummingbirds are really cute!

Beautiful place right at the edge of town with a stream running through the property. Very quiet yet walking distance to everything. Highly recommend.

The staff at this hotel were wonderful. They were kind & helpful. The balcony room was spacious and shower had good hot water pressure. The location is a 5 minute walk into the centre of town so is easy to access plenty of restaurants and shops.

Very nice room with very comfortable beds and amazing garden with view to the river. It was also very clean.

Everything. The location, the room, the staff were all excellent. There is a little river on the property, and hummingbirds. It is so quiet and peaceful. It was a short walk to the center. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here next trip!

Having a safe place to paddle in the river was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The setting was tranquil and full of wild birds and butterflies.
