“Own house in the center of Mindelo”

Very nice house in the hearth of Mindelo. Having two separate bedrooms was an added value. There is a lot of space, with sofas and dining table, the house was always well ventilated and fresh and we enjoyed having a full kitchen at our disposal. Wifi was working ok and was much quicker than we anticipated. Check in process was super easy and check out even easier. The people we interacted with were very nice and friendly all of the time.

“Quiet flat in a residential area”

The flat was very spacious and in a quiet residential area. I chose it because I wanted to be removed from the main touristy area. The wifi worked well and the flat offered the basic things to be able to cook. The host was friendly and accommodating.

The location is beautiful, very close to the centre and right in front a very good restaurant. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Simple but decorated with taste.

Looove the appartement the location and the family that owns it , they are all so adorable . They made my stay like I was home , there is also a restaurant just in front of it with great food ans people . And dont forger to go to Abyssinia the family’s cafe !

“My favourite apartment in Mindelo”

Kaza Jindung is the best place I’ve stayed so far in Mindelo. The host, Luís, is very friendly and ready to help you. The neighbourhood is safe and people there are very friendly (if you say you’re staying by Luís, they treet you almost like their family!). The apartment is newly furnished with furniture and decorations made by local artists and craftsmen, the kitchen is well equipped for making coffee and cooking, there is a fridge, coffe maker, stove etc. The architecture respects the local climate (small windows etc.) so it is pleasantly cool even in the worst midday heat without the need for air-conditioning. Everything is spotless clean and big plus – there is no heavy traffic around the house but you are still 10 minutes walk from the old town, seaside, market etc. Infront of the house is a charming restaurant runed by US/capeverdian couple called Cusinha d’terra where you can get local dishes and drinks (I recommend their ponche and fried inhamo!). If I ever return to Mindelo, this will be the first place I search on booking!
