Exceptional location in the nature, calm and private, and great staff

“A true treasure in Minca!”

Amazing location for beautiful views, gardens and birdwatching. We saw more birds relaxing on the premises than anywhere else in Minca! You can easily walk up and down (25 - 30 min) or get a quick motorbike - which they can help you with arranging. Amazing owners who are helpful and give you lots of privacy. Value proposition is incredible - rooms are really thoughtfully positioned, both having great views. No hot water or AC, which is reflected in price.. and very common in this region. The pizzaria next door is an absolute must!! They also make the breaky for the accommodation.. so book that if you can. The accommodation is super close to two beautiful waterfalls - Pozo Azul and Cascada Escondida. Make sure you visit the second one at least! We cannot recommend this place enough.

“A beautiful stay in Minca!!”

1000% recommend! We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here! It is in a stunning location with an amazing view from the room and also in the chill out area! Very peaceful and surrounded by nature! Just a 20 min walk into Minca town, and close to nearby waterfalls for hiking. There are only 2 cabins so it was very private. Very friendly and helpful people. The free breakfast was amazing. The pizza restaurant was also so good and super handy as it’s right next to the accommodation!

“Favourite stay!”

Stayed here with my family over Xmas and it was one of my fav stays in my whole month in Colombia! Absolutely loved being so immersed in nature and showering while looking out to the hills. A real sense you’re in the jungle. Very quiet as only two tents. Staff are really friendly and ordered us motor bikes to arrive at 5.30am when we had to get to town for bird watching! The breakfasts are delicious and the pizza was great too, we had that for three nights! Highly recommend.

Staff were lovely and it was a very smooth check in process. They didn’t demand passports and money as soon as we arrived like most places and let us settle into our room first which was nice. Lots of great options to choose from for breakfast and they were all really delicious. The location was fantastic, so peaceful, all you could hear at night were the sounds of the forest and nature. It was nice to be a little further out of the town.

“Amazing”

Beautiful location and view! There are only 2 cabins so it feels really private. Location was ideal for us; close to minca but also in nature. We’re still dreaming about the breakfast! Pizza is also delicious.

“Best possible stay in Minca”

The staff were very nice and patient, some were able to speak a bit of English. The space looked even better than in the pictures and it was close to Pozu Azul. It's managed by locals where the food is great, enough amendaties and helpfull people. Definetly book this one, you will like it

It's a small, laid-back place in a beautiful, quiet location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast (try the vegan pancakes!). Very good pizzas are available in the evening for a quite reasonable price. Waking up in the morning to singing birds and a jungle vista is quite special. Don't expect luxury, but my 'tent' had a private bathroom with shower (cold water), a comfortable bed and mosquito net, a small table and chairs, large shelves to put your things, WiFi access, and even a mini fridge stocked with reasonably priced drinks.

“Best place in minca”

Best spot in Minca nice and quiet away from the town but only a short 15/20 minute walk to the town rooms are spacious and comfortable hosts are great and breakfast is delicious with Gluten free and vegan option available. The river runs right behind with free access to a quieter area of the river can often have the place to yourself

“Perfect remote getaway in a accommodation”

Everything was amazing :) and the owner was super friendly! They sell drinks for a very reasonable price considering the remote location. The area was really tranquil and perfect for exploring the surroundings of minca. Its a very easy 30 min walk or 5 min motorway ride to the centre of Minca. The "tent" was super comfortable with spectacular vista of the green hills and the gardens was filled with lovely plants. It was very quiet and a perfect place to properly relax during travels

This place is awesome 10/10 stars. Very cozy. You have an awesome view from your bed. You can watch great sunsets. The bed is very comfortable. We had a great time there. I loved it. Also the breakfast was delicious. Pizza was delicious as well. I definitely would book it again

Our stay at Tukamping was nothing short of amazing. Jason and his family were wonderful, warm, and welcoming hosts, who played a huge part in making our stay in Minca a memorable and incredible experience. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature, with amazing views and sunsets visible from the property. You can easily walk or take moto-taxis to and from the city centre, however the property is also accessible by car. We Will definitely come back in the future.

“Unmissable!”

This was our favourite stay in Colombia. A beautiful setting, clean and comfortable accommodation, good breakfast and a great pizzeria next door, owned by the same family… just perfect. We stayed in the larger ‘tent’ and it was great to have the extra space for bags etc, but both options looked lovely. The owner was very helpful in arranging us mototaxis into the centre of Minca, but we also walked on other occasions and it wasn’t too far - 30 minutes. We loved going to the cascada escondida nearby, and even the river which was even closer on the same route was great for a quick dip!

“Perfect place to stay in Minca”

Perfect place to stay in Minca, we booked one night but ended up staying three. It's located a little out of the village in the most beautiful setting, the view is worth the walk up the hill. The cabin we stayed in was super cosy and had its own private bathroom, all spotlessly clean. The staff were so kind and accomodating they made our stay even better, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included and was generous portions freshly prepared every day, we tried the pancakes with fruit and the smoothie bowl and both were great. We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer if we could!
