“HIGHLY recommend, we felt so at home!!!”
We felt so at home here, really couldn't ask for more for such a reasonable price. Everyone was lovely, the room had character and was very clean and very comfy beds, awesome location close to everything, very well equipped kitchen. And the CATS are some of the healthiest cats I have seen around and a couple in particular so friendly!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, it was helpful having the mini fridge in the room to store groceries. The kitchen was also handy (although it isn’t covered which means you get very wet when it rains). Overall it was good value for money and well located.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All of them! We had a short but fantastic stay with excellent service. 10/10 for the laundry service too. We left very early for a long hike and could leave our laundry to be washed. When we returned it was all washed, dried and folded. For a very reasonable price as well. The check-in and check-out procedures were very swift and easy. Because our bus arrived with a large delay in Santa Marta, we would miss the opportunity to take a collectivo to Minca. In contact with the owners of the hostel, they connected me to Edwin (a reliable taxi service) who brought us to Minca from the bus station in Santa Marta. The later check-in was no problem as I kept them posted about the delayed arrival. They went out of their way to welcome us and that is very much appreciated and valued. The location of the hostel is in the city center of Minca, next to the bus station for the collectivos. Easy to find, very central and with all kinds of restaurants and shops nearby. The owners of the hostel also run a shop themselves, located under the hostel. They sell basically everything you might need. The room was spacious, had a comfortable mattress, tv and an ensuite bathroom. Not the newest/modern interior, but certainly charming and put together with love and dedication.

“Nice hotel”
Close to everything, very convenient little shop in the hotel. Nice little pool to chill out after hiking routes too. Staff were amazing and super nice!

“Good, basic and well-located”
A very basic backpacker hotel, close to where the buses arrive and depart. Reception is in the shop on the street in front of the hotel. The rooms are arranged motel style around two sides of the courtyard/garden. There is a pleasant seating/eating area and a basic kitchen with electric rings, pots and pans and assorted crockery and cutlery. There is a table with a bank of drip coffee machines for coffee on tap. There are washing machines - but it’s up to you go dry the clean clothes (they dried quite quickly when places near the fans in our room). If you want a good basic base to explore Minca, this is the place for you!
