“amazing hostel”

The hostel was very clean and nice - the kitchen was super clean, the bedrooms really nice size and spacious (and had air conditioning in them which was very nice with such hot temperatures outside!). There is an outside bit you can sit at as well with a beautiful view. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. They made us feel really welcome The location is perfect - very calm, no cars passing by but a short walk to centre of town. Overall really great experience, would book again without a doubt!

“Exceptional hospitality and personal attention”

We stayed one night at the highly praised Jungle Joy, and another night here. Jungle Joy has a better view, but this place offers such personal attention to each guest and such genuine hospitality that we haven’t experienced anything like it in a long time, even though we travel a lot. and the jacuzzi was a perfect relax after a long day hiking Minca trails.

Everything; they also have an amazingly cute and friendly cat! The bedroom was impeccably clean and the bed super comfortable. The common space is very well organized: wide well furnished kitchen with tons of pans and pots to cook and a fridge available for guests; a big amazing terrace facing on the jungle with tables, hot tub and nets where to lay down; couch and room where to rest and enjoy the wi-fi that worked very well in every space. Juan David is available for everything - he also offered to lend me his backpack to do a 2 days hike to Cerro Kennedy and it was extremely useful! A person with big faith and super helpful. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Minca.

“Such a nice hostel, highly recommend”

The bedroom was spacious and we loved the thoughtful details eg. bedside lights as well as ambient lights around the room. A full length mirror, bedside tables - modest luxuries you often don’t get with hostels. The owners were super sweet and friendly, the shared kitchen and filtered water were useful, cute Ghibli decor around, and loved the back deck and hammock area overlooking the jungle. A/C and a fan in the room kept us comfy in the humidity. Location was great - really quiet area and a short easy walk to the main street of town. One of our favourite hostels in a while!

Our stay was amazing. Easy to reach, less than 5 minutes walk from the main street. The hostel is nice decorated, clean and with good views. We saw hummingbirds and fireflies from the terrace of the hostel. The room was comfortable, nice bed with a private bathroom. It also had AC, and the linen and towels were nice and clean. The kitchen was useful and full equipped. On top of that, they have a jacuzzi in the terrace that made our stay very enjoyable. The family living in the hostel was very nice and accommodating, made our stay much more enjoyable. We have used the time there to relax and recharge before continuing with our trip. I can’t recommend it enough.

Lovely family owned hostel, clean room and bathroom. Good cooking facilities with everything we needed to cook our meals. Good Aircon in bedroom.

The position is nice, not in the main street and just 7 mins to it. In the nature. Air conditioning was working well

Great value for money!! Aircon worked great and we love having a kitchen you can cook your own food in. Very friendly and helpful family running it. Complimentary coffee!

Good location, simple but has a kitchen and a balcony,

Very good value with pleasant staff and everything smooth and easy.

It’s a very nice place with an amazing terrace view. The stuff is friendly and made sure we have everything we need for our stay to be perfect.

“Hopefully we just had a bad experience…”

Some rooms only have fans, not AC. We only had a fan, but we were very glad to have it because it was super hot and humid! Complimentary tea and coffee was a nice gesture.

“Convenient and comfortable place to stay near the town centre”

Good location, close to the centre. Good facilities in the kitchen, but it wasn't kept clean. Working air conditioning, comfortable bed and clean bathroom in the room. No hot shower, not unusual in this area.

We had a nice private room with bathroom and airconditioning. Not big, but enough for us. The accommodation had an amazing balcony with a beautiful view.

It was a budget price so it was priced right. The location was good being about a 5-10 minute walk out of town. Therefore no loud noise from the town, quite peaceful.l
