Overview
Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring district, Ryokan Ichinoi offers Japanese-style accommodations with Japanese Yukata robes. Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor hot-springs baths and enjoy traditional multi-course meals. Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop is a 10-minute walk away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and a safety deposit box are included in each. Rooms come with a private toilet but bathrooms are shared. Free WiFi is available at the lobby and guests can request massages for an extra cost. A private hot-springs bath can be reserved for an additional fee and local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop. Seasonal ingredients are served with the traditional multi-course dinners and a Japanese set-menu is served for breakfast. All meals are served in a shared dining room. Ichinoi Ryokan is a 30-minute drive from Kongoho-ji Temple and a 25-minute drive from Mangan-ji Temple. Kuju Ski Resort is a 40-minute drive away.

“Fantastic place with a great onsen”
The onsen was amazing. We used the separate gender ones mostly since they had open-air onsens. However, we also rented a private onsen once, which was nice. The meals were fantastic! We enjoyed all of the food. It was so delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed. The room was comfortable and had space to sit down and hang out. We loved it here!

“Wish I could re-live our stay it was that fantastic”
A truly outstanding stay that exceeded our expectations in every way. We accidentally parked in the wrong car park and the staff moved our car for us and provided us with a minibus in the morning to the parking lot. No request was too small for the staff, who were very kind and cheerful. The onsen was the best we've been to in Japan (we've had it all to ourselves) - so peaceful and relaxing, looking right at the forest with the sounds of chirping birds and the drip of the onsen water. But nothing beats the food they served, both for dinner and breakfast. Delicious portions of horse sashimi, real wasabi, fish, pudding etc. You definitely get full from the servings. I wish we had stayed more nights but will definitely come here again if I stay in Kurokawa. An outstanding experience.

Enjoy my stay here at Ichinoi very much from spcious.room to the lovely onsen to the half board meals which really.impressed me. The staff were very helpful and.make us feel comfortable. The ryoken was off the main kurokawa street and is a narrow drive up but is doable.

“Definitely need a small car to get to this place”
Dinner and Breakfast were fantastic. The room is much bigger than expected. Room is clean, had the onsen bath essentials ready for use. The servic is excellent. It was a pleasant stay and a great experience.

“The best hotel ever !!”
The best hotel ever !! We loved our stay there. Amazing location, such a tasty food , so peaceful, clean and beautiful, we felt so special spending time there. We rented the private bath and also used the shared baths and it was amazing experience. I would recommend it to everyone. Magical place with super sweet stuff. It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back.

Onsen and food were excellent. Our room had a very good view of nature outside. Room and onsen amenities were very clean. Free parking.
