Top marks for this property. Very comfortable accommodation with private hot springs bath. Half board is definitely recommended but be ready for the full Japanese meal experience. The property is right out in the country with a lovely setting. The staff were very friendly and able to speak enough English for us to get by with no problems.

A good accommodation in itself, but far too expensive for what you get. The food is well-prepared and the staff friendly. Hygiene leaves something to be desired, especially in the private baths.

I like the environment, surrounding is very peaceful and chill. Sauna area is well maintained. Room, mattresses is hygiene and clean. They even provide extra clothes for ur sauna

Unique experience with its own onsen. There is a small public pool as well.. It’s on top of the mountain and it’s quiet. Dinner and breakfast is at the dining hall.

Nice cozy environment & room. Delicious dinner served by friendly, courteous waiter n waitress (esp. 2 Indonesian interns) Front reception staff are also very helpful to recommend nearby places of interest.

Private Onsen is already awesome, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor Onsen in my room is even better.

It's a little bit difficult to find the hotel, yet once we got there, the warm and welcoming reception staff, Nyimas, who checked us in, her genuinely pleasant personalities had made us feel right at home. The villa we stayed, it was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The in room onsen was a true highlight: soothing, clean, and beautifully designed for an authentic experience. Parking was conveniently located right in front of our villa, making arrival and departures effortless. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing local flavors and fresh ingredients. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, with staff always eager to help and attentive to every detail. I definitely would consider staying again if I visit Aso in the future.

Staff is super nice and excellent service. The cottage is cute and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast are good. The private outdoor onsen is the highlight. Love it a lot.

Wonderful staff, beautiful and clean rooms, great food. Calm and peaceful spot in a rural part of Japan. Many public Onsen to enjoy, Spas and nature. They offer great amenities as well. just an amazing experience, especially with the private onsen, which works wonders on the skin, body and spirit. We had an amazing time here!

“Experiencing Japan”

We loved the traditional Japanese food served. The hot pools were great. The greenery around the chalets was very beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they had some English-speaking staff which was very useful for those of us with minimal Japanese. 😃
