“Good choice for Tokushima area”
Great location on the beach, loved the sunset. Friendly staff and we enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. The semi outdoor private bath in our room was so fantastic that we never tried the main baths.

This was our second time staying at Awaji Hamarikyu. Their service and facilities were still the same. Their breakfast was the best. We booked a private onsen in our suite this time, and it was worth every penny.

“Delightful seaside hotel”
Interesting blend of traditional Japanese and 19th century styles. Appreciated the spacious and luxurious rooms. The dinner a real highlight. And of course the public baths, indoor and outdoor, were a real treat. The staff very friendly and helpful.

“Well done”
It was a 2nd time to visit this hotel due to their remarkable service, sunset on the beach, hot spring and food. It is also quite nice for the hotel which provides free soft drinks and sparking wine all day.

1. Room had sea views and enjoyed sunset (until neighbouring rooms smoked at their balcony) 2. Great service, and they remembered it’s our anniversary trip. Dinner experience was special too, like any Michelin starred restaurant with local produce and ingredients. Loved their Awaji beef. Good breakfast buffet spread. 3. Public onsen in the property was calmingly beautiful with a nice charm
