“Great for snow sports!”
Located right in front of the Ishiuchi gondola, it's very convenient for snow sports. The drying room has locks for boards and boots. The staff were very helpful.

Staff is very friendly. Location to skiing is great. There is a good Blue/Orange line bus connection from Gala Yuzawa station. This should be highlighted.

“This will be our go-to place at Ishiuchi.”
Owners were as kind as they come. We speak some Japanese and they speak some English which made it a very comfortable combination. We loved our first stay at Mistral so much we changed our following weekend plans to come back. Location is impossible to beat if you want to ski Ishiuchi. Literally at the base of Sunrise lift. Rentals available on property, storage, drying room, and delicious meals if you book in advance. Futons and room were very cozy and bath room was excellent. Next door and walking distance to several restaurants. My husband and I were able to eat dinner and watch our kids night ski.

“Cozy place run by nice hosts. Comfortable stay, beautiful view and tasty meals.”
Very nice and accommodating host. Location is super convenient, 5 mins from shuttle bus stop and 1 min from SUNRISE EXPRESS gondola. The hotel is inside the ski resort, ski In ski out. We stayed with breakfast and dinner and are tasty. Rooms are bright with Mountain View and very clean. Comfortable bedding. Shared bathroom and toilets. Bathroom can be reserved from private family use for 30 mins/day. Just fill in the form at front desk. Full facilities with refrigerator, microwave, vending machine, free coffee and tea. Kettle is of sharing basis outside the room at public area. A supermarket 10 mins by food from hotel and convenient store 15 min. We had rental snowboard and are of very good condition.

The owners were very helpful and friendly because we had to change the original date because of a direct contact with a positive covid person, and after getting negative PCR, they allowed us to change it again. We really appreciated that flexibility and understanding.
