Offering ski-to-door access from Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort, a 1-minute walk away, Allumeur features ski gear rentals and both Japanese/Western rooms. It's a 2-minute drive from Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort. Facilities include drinks vending machines, a souvenir shop and free parking. Allumeur lies central to 9 other ski areas, including Maiko Snow Resort a 7-minute drive away and Jouetsu Kokusai Ski Resort 10 minutes away. JR Echigo Yuzawa Station is a 7-minute drive and water attraction park Jouetsu Kokusai Play Land is a 15-minute drive. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with an LCD TV. Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Toilets and bathrooms are shared. Amenities including shampoo, face wash, hair brushes and shaving razors are provided in the shared bathroom for free. Western rooms offer beds and an en suite bathroom. Guests can request to use an air humidifier for free and a hairdryer is available in guest rooms. Amenities such as Japanese-style yukata robes and towels are available free of charge. The property offers luggage storage and ticketing service, and it sells ski passes. Allumeur can also help to arrange classes in noodle making (soba-uchi), pottery and weaving nearby. very welcoming family. They help you with all your transportation related issues and take care of you. The hotel is bed and breakfast style. It served well as a place to rest for all the familiy after a long day skiing. Just walking distance to one of the sky resorts (2 minutes away) which make it very convenient.

“Family-run gem next to the slopes!”
Family-owned and run! Such a cozy stay right next to Ishiuchi Resort, and super easy to get to from the Echigo Yuzawa train station (just a quick 5-min taxi). The room and ofuro were perfect after long days on the slopes. The staff were SO nice and very helpful with recommendations. Honestly my best stay in Yuzawa!

Breakfast was good since it was very difficult to find a restaurant nearby. They offer European-style breakfast. Although there are not many options on the menu, they provide vegetables for customers.

“Beautiful location and staff too”
The family run business was a highlight,with an excellent attention to detail on all facets. The food was particularly excellent and plenty of it. It snowed heavily when we were departing and the owners son haraki was kind enough to drive 6 people and suitcases ...2 seperate trips...from ishiuchi to echigo yuzawa station. A very very kind gesture indeed. We were disappointed to leave such a great location.

“A nice traditional place to stay with meal provided for a good price.”
Good location and friendly staff. Clean facilities and I enjoyed the traditional Japanese style room. I rented an e-bike at the Echigo-Yazawa station, so getting from the station to the hotel was easy. I had booked the option with breakfast and dinner, but was leaving the next morning at 5 am. The host made me a breakfast the night before and left it in a cooler for me to eat in the morning. I really appreciated this effort and the solid breakfast was highly appreciated as I spent most of the day hiking. Highly recommended!
