We really appreciated the attentive and friendly owner and gave us good advice on the area. We also liked the experience in that it was different from the average impersonal hotel. Was also very peaceful and Leo the dog was great. Can definitely recommend.

“Warm and cozy house with a helpful owner”
The room was clean and the owner uses the best quality products including slippers, soft towels, and thicker toilet paper. The house is warm, cozy, and comfortable with homey decor, a fire going in the wood stove in the evening, and high quality art. He tried to help in any way he could like carrying suitcases, giving the best recommendations for things to see while in the area and in Takachiho, providing me with an umbrella, giving me a towel onsen package in case I needed it, and directing my car out of his front yard.

The place was cozy, the location was great, and Kawasaki the owner was very helpful and generous. He helped me throughout my stay even though I didn't have a car. He took me to a place for bicycle rental, dropped me off at the bus stop, etc. I fully recommend it.

The host was exceptionally kind and supportive in helping guests plan their travels and is invested in maintaining and rebuilding the culture of the area. I didn’t have a car and he drove me to the station multiple times and went above and beyond to make sure I found where I was going. The accommodations were clean, modern, and comfortable.

good place with a beautiful Aso volcano backdrop. Host very nice and let us go to dinner at izakaya with special menu ( horse meat. We enjoy it. Nice home and have one pretty dog golden retrivers. We recommend to stay here

Love stay. Host was wonderful and organised a meal reservation and drove us there without any additional cost. Home was lovely and clean. Other guests and us had great time socialising in common area. Amazing to be so close and have a view of mount aso.

The host is very lovely and went out of his way to help me plan my stay. He recommended and dropped me off at a brilliant local restaurant and even lent me hiking poles for my walk the next day. The location is excellent for hiking in the Aso region and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
