Overview
Featuring 16 hot spring baths and a variety of treatments and massages, Zazan minakami is a relaxing oasis in the mountains of Gunma. The Japanese-style rooms offer river and valley views. All rooms feature traditional Japanese-style tatami-mat floors and futon bedding. Each includes an en suite bathroom and is fitted with a refrigerator. Guests can enjoy cable TV. Three of Zazan minakami Hotel’s baths can be reserved for private use. Guests can also relax in the sauna or spa bath, and a karaoke bar provides entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is offered in public areas. Meals feature Japanese specialities made from fresh local foods. Zazan minakami Resort is located just 1 km from Minakami Train Station. It is about 75 minutes from Tokyo by shinkansen (bullet train).

Rooms were excellent and well appointed, clean and ready for use. Very good staff treatment and excellent location and view. Breakfast was superb in terms of food choice, quality and locally-sourced selections. The baths are excellent and refreshing, especially the outdoor bath. The sauna is very good.

The lobby is very expensive with lots of room to relax and enjoy the view. Theres lots of art work all around which is great as well, plus the private onsen options are really good. Our room was truly amazing, with incredible views of the mountains. We booked in for dinner and went downwearing the yukata robes provided in the lobby, which was an experience. The staff were really nice and went far to help us during our stay. The evening and morning meals were a very interesting culinary adventure which I recommend highly.

“Lovely stay in minakami”
Gorgeous onsens with additional private onsens that could be booked for an extra fee. Valet parking was a dream. The interior of the hotel is really well looked after. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food delicious!

The hotel was large and the onsen was good and had multiple baths. The hotel was in an awesome location, the building was directly overlooking the gorge.

It is an old hotel so it has old fashioned atmosphere. It has a wonderful view and staff were very helpful. The Onsen itself is fantastic. Wonderful experience. Minakami is a cute little town worth walking through.

“Fantastic place to be a way of busy life in Tokyo”
I like the room and the onsen. I really love the room is next to the sea. It was very calming and fresh. The staff is very nice too.
