Sorry that I forgot to review this before as this place was fabulous and I loved being here. Would love to come back. The whole area of the accommodation is fabulous, the trees and plants, the amazing pool, the outdoor seating, the restaurant, and the lovely chalets. Just great. And the incredible sound of all the animals at night. Wonderful.

“Wonderfull place”
Everithing was very nice. And the People that Work there are Super friendly and soo profesional. Gabriel off course is a Person soo friendly ,very attentive and respectful. For sure the BEST place for stay in Mikumi.

This is my third stay at Camp Basnian. This time in a superior chalet. Everything was perfect. Our first night safari was very interesting and unusual. We saw hyenas hunting hippos, mongooses, buffalo, antelope, and more at night. The next day, on a day safari, we saw six lions and all the other animals. Thanks to Gabriel for his hospitality!

“Pleasant stay in the very heart of Mikumi”
A cozy and green property in the very heart of Mikumi, with pool and great premises for dining. Would return for a longer stay. Perfect location if planning the safari in the Mikumi National Park. Rich and tasty breakfasts. Smiling and welcoming personnel. Comfortable sleeping in large beds with an anti-mosquito ‘protection’.

“Thank you for a memorable 3 days with you!”
Wonderful friendly staff, efficient in the dinning room and reception All of our needs were met, and we had an excellent 2 day safari in Mikumi National Park with Frank that were organised through the Camp Bastian. Located close to main gate too. Food was cooked fresh and buffet choices were delicious! Clean rooms and lovely gardens surrounding the cottages

“Very close to Mikumi park.”
This is a nice hotel with a swimming pool as a bonus. This place is close to Mikumi National Park, and we had our own 4WD, so on the day, we booked a guide at the park's entrance. It was very easy and affordable to see a national park, and there were lots of animals to see. Very nice and big rooms and fans to keep you cool. Massive bathroom and warm water.

“Amazing Place for a Mikumi Trip”
We stayed for 3 nights in the Superior Chalets which were extremely spacious and clean. The entire property is laid out nicely and well looked after. Food was great with different options every day. Communication was easy and all staff very friendly and attentive. We planned all our activities / game drives with Camp Bastian which was really smooth and they took care of everything. We can highly recommend this accommodation to anyone planning a trip to Mikumi and will definitely be back !

A very cute and quite/relaxing place near the national park. I appreciated that dinner was possible for me at the last minute. The room was nice.
