Location is fantastic with breathtaking views of the Picos de Europa mountains. Rural location was lovely too, surrounded by farmland and not far from Potes town (walkable).

A charming and rustic stay in a lovely posada in beautiful surroundings overlooking the mountains. The hosts and their daughters were welcoming and friendly. We loved the breakfasts and the surprise in what we were getting each morning. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the walk to and back from Potes where there is a lively atmosphere and many good restaurants. A lovely haven to stay and explore the mountains.

The setting was utterly breathtaking, nestled up tiny mountain roads and having panoramic views of stunning mountains. The hosts were lovely and so welcoming, speaking almost perfect English. Breakfasts were home cooked and delicious, served outside on the terrace to take full advantage of the exquisite views. The swimming pool outside was a fantastic surprise and we made good use of it. A truly idyllic place that I would recommend thoroughly.

Family run and they could not have been nicer. The breakfast was amazing the views are terrific , the room was lovely and spotlessly clean.

The most perfect stay of our 3 weeks and 13 hotels… The location and view are fabulous; great to swim in the pool. Excellent breakfasts and superlative hosts. We shall return.

“A lovely rustic place to stay when visiting the mountains”

We had breakfast each morning, which was not included. Each day it was different and freshly prepared. Different each morning so something to look forward too. The hotel is small and on a hill out of town. You could probably walk down in 30 minutes but would need a taxi back up! Potes is a very historic town with a lot of facilities, plus a Monday market. In a dip in the mountains the scenery is amazing. If you are thinking of the Picos, then this is the place.

Beautiful family run Posada. Very friendly atmosphere, all staff were very welcoming and attentive and helpful. Outdoor breakfast in front of mountains superb. It is a 20 minute walk into Potes which has plenty of restaurants for 3vening meal.
