“Rural, beautiful views, close to town, fabulous food and a comfy sleep”

Beautiful rural location but only 15 minutes steady walk from centre of Potes. Restaurant and bar caters mainly to locals but selection is good, portions generous and reasonably priced. A double en-suite room costs 40-odd pounds sterling and is very good value. The staff are lovely and very attentive, the beds very comfortable.

No breakfast was taken at the property so we cannot comment on that. We did have an evening meal which was acceptable but the feeling in the restaurant on the night we did was not one that was particularly warming, two tables occupied, ours being one and at opposite ends of the room with one member of staff appearing to do everything and the meals themselves were ok, not stand out in anyway. The room itself was basic and we hadn't expected anything else and it overlooked the rear hillside garden which was nice however, with the window being kept open because it was warm we did notice a number of flies coming into the room which we put down to chickens that live freely in the garden. It was a niggle and not a reason to prevent us booking again. The beds we had were single beds and to our surprise were extremely comfortable and on both nights we got a great nights sleep.

The quality price of the beds and place in general is perfect.

“Fantastic hotel with excellent restaurant and super comfy rooms.”

Fantastic hotel in a great location, just outside Potes(walking distance) Room decent size with a great view. Very comfy double bed The bathroom is clean and functional. Free car park just outside the hotel, plenty of space. Great restaurant with an excellent selection of various dishes and drinks. All served well and at a great price. Excellent breakfasts and coffee. The staff was very friendly, helpful and chatty despite the slight language barrier( do apologise for not speaking better Spanish and I promise to improve before the next visit)
