Amazing location at the waterfront

I would definitely recommend this apartment. It was one of the reasons why our trip to the Faroe Islands was so enjoyable. The views were amazing - the harbor on one side and a small waterfall with a seating area on the other. It felt a bit like premium camping, which we really loved. The place was also well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is also perfectly located as a base for exploring the islands. The host was extremely helpful and always available when we needed assistance. Overall, a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended!

“Excellent value for money”

The property is exactly as described on Booking.com. It consists of three small “two-room” cottages located in the marina area near the airport. Each room has its own private bathroom and a small kitchenette. The furnishings are simple, but everything you need is provided. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and you can park your car right next to the cottage.

The room was quite authentic, well equipped, facing the port, with free parking. It is also situated 5 minutes away from the supermarket. Check in was smooth (self check in was provided); and the host was super nice: thank you for our talk about the Faroese culture!

Everything was great. Good place close to many beautiful places in Vagar, airport, bus stop and supermarket. Everthing what you need in appartment: kitchen, heating, hot water and I loved them shoe dryer.

Great location. Really helpful communications in advance. Everything you needed. Close to an excellent supermarket and routes across the Islands. Really nice touch to have spare towels etc mid week. Glad we paid extra for linen and towels.

I stayed at Kristjanshavn’s hostel during my time in the Faroe Islands, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. He helped me so much during a difficult moment, as I got stuck on the island due to flight cancellations, and he was there to support me with everything I needed. The hostel itself is cozy, clean, and has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. I felt at home from day one. The hospitality and care I received were truly exceptional. 100% recommended, both for the place and for Kristjanshavn’s kindness and generosity. “Cozy little cottage at the marina”

Compact room but has everything you need, shower is comfortable, the view is nice (we could see the tip of Trollkonufingur from the window). Located right in the marina but still has enough privacy, the place is not crowded. The three cottages have a terrace that is protected from the wind pretty much. You can also dip into the sea at a ledder half a minute walking away from the house. Car rental office (pickup/dropoff station) right next door. The owner is very kind and helpful.

Cosy and clean

Great for independent travel away from the prices of Torshavn, but not remote. Really clean and tidy, all necessary utensils provided, including a microwave, twin hob and fridge. Always had hot water and control of the radiator for heating when I needed it. The boot dryer in the hall was essential!
