“Satisfying”
Clean rooms, towels changed, although parts were under renovation there was no fault with those that were. The owners were friendly and approachable. I had no problem getting my deposit back. I would definitely stay there again at the right price.

“I will stay there again.”
I like historic hotels. This one had its heyday, then the hotel boom in the area probably took it out. The property has a lot of potential and I it looks like the current owners are trying to bring it back to life. Maybe they will, maybe not. It looks like the low prices have attracted a few long term people. The hotel doesn't appear to have enough revenue to keep the resort style pool open and vibrant. It might be a really nice small convention or wedding/party venue if you had enough people to take it over. For business travel, it is cheap, central, quiet, and I had the entire executive atrium to myself, so that would be an interesting place to have a meeting if your guests appreciated such a location.

“Terrible”
The pool was down I changed rooms due to bugs in my room and was charged a second deposit due to a blood stain on the sheet when my wife wasn’t on her period. The sheets we slept on where yellow like somebody urinated all over them

“Poor experience is the better description”
Front desk staff was rude upon arrival and very unfriendly. Would not accept a credit card at check in, debit card only. When I questioned what was never disclosed prior to arrival, the remark was...I don't make the rules, I just work here man.

“Avoid at all costs.”
The size of the room. Comfortable couch and bed. TVs in both rooms was a nice touch. Nothing else was nice, horrible experience. I had to stay at another hotel.
