Very remote, last mile on a rough track, but worth the journey to this hunting lodge out on the plain with mountains either side. Warm welcome, with tea, and a guided tour of the home-grown vegetables and herbs. Very comfortable room, interesting other guests, and a tasty dinner.

“Great family room with superb food”

A great little place to stop between Fez and Merzouga to break up the journey. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you and the tagine was the best we had in our two week trip around Morocco, thoroughly recommend.

Coming from a desert trip we truly enjouyed the hammam and massage offered by a powerful lady who also managed the kitchen, her cuisine was spectacular as well. This emploayee is really the centre piece of the hotel !

We were the only guests during our stay, and the staff took very friendly and attentive care of us. It felt personal and relaxed. One of the highlights was enjoying the sunset from the rooftop terrace — truly beautiful. The food was tasty and plentiful, making the experience even more enjoyable. A lovely place to unwind.

Everything was clean. Services were good and the staff make everything to have a good stay.

Nice for a stopover on the way to the desert (from Fes).

This was a really nice stay on our trip from Merzouga to Fés. Dar Al Qanass Imame is near the city of Midelt, in a very quiet location. The room was very nice and clean with fresh towels. The pool in the garden is amazing and dinner (which you can order) and breakfast (which is included in the stay) are very delicious.

“An interesting experience in a remote location”

A very charming Kasbah out in the sticks. The staff was super friendly. To reach the place with motorbikes is not for the feint hearted especially when it rains.

If you like staying in a remote lodge type environment with stunning views, then this place is difficult to beat. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, providing us with tea and dates on arrival. We were travelling by motorcycle, so there was no problems with onside secure parking. There was a open fire burning in the lounge area, where all were welcome to sit and chat. Our room, was located on the roof terrace and was cold and draughty. There was no heating in our room, which was pretty basic, although additional blankets were provided. The ensuite shower room was OK, but lack of adequate drainage meant that the room flooded into the bedroom, causing our clothes to get wet. Sunset and sunrise were magnificent against the snowy mountain backdrop.

This hotel is a true hidden gem in the Atlas Mountains—peaceful, welcoming, and full of charm. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. A special thanks to Nadia for being so kind and helpful throughout our stay! If you're travelling through Midelt on your way to the Atlas Mountains, this place is a perfect stop. Bonus: Our motorcycles were safely parked inside the complex, with the main gate securely closed at night. Highly recommended! James

This place is amazing and I'm so glad we stopped here. The way to the place is well marked and easy to find. The owner and all the people who work there are so nice. The owner generously invited us to have Iftar with them and it really felt like home. The view, the herb garden, the delicious food - everything was perfect! And the cat Simba is a real charmer. If you happen to be passing through this area, be sure to stop at this lovely place.
