“Lovely stay in edelweiss”

The hut is in European German style which is cool. Room was retro and cosy, there was also shared common room with little snacks and any kinds of dishes. The balcony had a nice view in nature. The breakfast was Amazing!! A lots of veggies and fruits which was great and fresh croissants.:) The owner Was Kind.

“A nice stopover between St John ferry (Digby) and Halifax”

Excellent stop off between the St John NB to Digby NS Ferry, just under halfway to Halifax. We didnt have any contact with the management, the keys can be picked up in the entrance. However the room was good and you can wander around the grounds. Some folks were having a drink and enjoying the evening before dinner. I took some phootos of threes with fall colours. Breakfast is in the attached restaurant (a separate business). It was very good. The restaurant is good for dinner. The host is German although the Inn was origionaly built and owned by Swiss people.

It’s very authentic, it feels like one is in Germany or Austria, even the windows are different. Barbara is very accommodating and makes sure everything is to your liking. Dinner was absolutely delicious.

We enjoyed a spacious and very nice room in a charming Alpine-style inn. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we loved the beautiful walking path through meadows and woods on the property. Breakfast was tasty and varied, and the big, well-equipped common kitchen and lounge made the stay even more enjoyable.

The check-in and check out process was smooth. Lovely country atmosphere. I awoke to the sound of birds singing outside my balcong door. The buffet breakfast included with the room was lovely. (Fruit, toast, yogurt, eggs, meat, fresh baked muffins and pretzel buns). While I didn't have any food restrictions, I witnessed some very accomodating people taking care of other guests. As I was leaving I was given some great directions to travel the scenic route to my next destination. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was welcoming. The dinner was delicious. The hot breakfast this morning was also delicious. The kitchen room was a nice touch as well as the balconies. We will be back.

“A comfortable country idyll for couples or larger groups”

Quaint European style inn run by friendly and dedicated owner. Beautiful grounds for bird watching or walks in surrounding woods. Grounds impeccably managed. Relaxing and functional indoor and outdoor communal spaces with comfortable fully fitted rooms which make for a perfect base to explore the Bay of Fundy and surrounding area.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It was very quiet and the food was good at the restaurant.

Breakfast was served exceptionally fresh every morning and prepared with a lot of care in order to satisfy the guests staying there, plenty of choice and the tables were set up professionally everytime to start the day feeling well looked after! The owner was extremely kind and generous and it made our stay even more comfortable as it had a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere everytime she was around. She went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful and appreciative of her hard efforts aswell as the friendly hard working staff who also help to maintain and make Edelweiss the special and unique inn it is for everybody staying or visiting there! We want to thank you all for everything and we will definitely be staying again in the future aswell recommending friends/family 😊!

The breakfast was superb

Beautiful quaint spot out in the country. Rooms are cozy. Very clean. Good selection for breakfast. Lots to choose from. Cant wait to come back again when it's the warmer weather to explore more. The owner Barb is fabulous!!

The property is very serene and hosts were very welcoming! We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant (closed Tuesdays), however the breakfast was fantastic. Since the restaurant was closed the night of our stay it may have been more quiet than usual, but it was really nice to be able to relax in peace. If needed, the wi-fi was very good. The nearby provincial park and wharf are lovely.

Staff were really nice and accommodating and helpful with information. Breakfast was outstanding and quite unique from the standard breakfast fare. Loved the location although bit out of the way, was a lovely spot to discover.

wonderful breakfasts, live entertainment one morning (not a usual occurrence but delightful interlude). Location was very quiet - loved being out in the countryside. Host very friendly and engaging with guests.
