Slapen bij Scherp is an excellent place to call home while in Middelburg. The apartment in which we stayed for three nights, is decorated and furnished with great thoughtfulness and a practical, yet refined aesthetic. The couple, who also run the superb Restaurant Scherp next door, have created something of a masterpiece. We loved it!

Such a cute, comfy and beautifully designed studio with charming views over the rooftops (including Lange Jan :) and with everything you could need, so many lovely touches and truly spotless throughout. The owners are kind and discreet, clearly focused on ensuring your stay is perfect.

Excellent location in the centre of Middelburg. The apartment was fully equipped and met our needs. Host was great, very speedy reply when I had a question. Beds were comfortable and we loved the layout and the care the hosts put into the apartment. It exceeded our expectations!

“Lovely apartment in a lovely city.”
Love the location. We have stayed at this property before, although in one of the other apartments and they are well equipped with just about everything needed for a comfortable stay and have well thought out decor. Stairs to the apartment may be a challenge for some, but having stayed before, were aware of this. Bicycle storage and garage for the car also appreciated when parking is at a premium as with most city centres.

“Perfect, Complete, Relaxing”
Fully equipped, modern, relaxing, warm, very comfortable bed. Great bathroom, well stocked kitchen - even a minbar! Location is perfect and even though the restaurant was next door - and busy - didn’t hear them once!
