Great location 5 minutes from the beach, the staff were really enthusiastic and the quality of the food was exceptional! I would definitely recommend the all inclusive option which is great value for money. Nice chilled vibe and a fire every evening to end the day.

The staff really make this place. Always entertaining & friendly, always able to do little extras. Location is great: a minute's walk to the superb beach, plenty of activities & excursions on hand nearby.

The staff was amazing and so friendly. They did their best to make all guests feel welcome and made us feel like family. They were so kind to us and always willing to help. We had so much of fun dancing around the bonfire. The rooms were comfortable and all the essentials were there. The chef's good was great. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave our Sagando family (Calista, Sweety, Chef, Raheema and 'dancer')

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Sagando Bungalows Zanzibar. The place is cozy, clean, and perfect for both families and solo travelers. Special thanks to the two ladies at reception, the main chef, and Mohamed at the restaurant cashier for their great service! Highly recommended. Sagando has the most amazing staff and I apologize in advance for the long text, but they deserve all the praise. They made us feel very welcome. We stayed in another location in the beginning of our vacation and they even went and picked up our big suitcases there and stored them for 6 days until we returned from our safari. The girls at the reception helped us with every request. The ladies from housekeeping were so kind, leaving us surprises on the bed. They even opened up our bed in the evening when spraying for mosquitos. We loved going to the restaurant for dinner because the boys always welcomed us with the biggest smiles and the food is just delicious. We had the Tuna Tartar basically every day of our 5 night stay. Also they made a huge surprise for my husband's birthday with dancing and singing. The kindness is incredible. Location: it is a 5min walk to the beach, which is totally fine and Michamwi is in our humble opinion the most beautiful beach. It is quiet, clean, safe and has a wonderful sunset. Compared to Pingwe, Kizimkaze and Jambiani, this one wins by far. Also you can go to a hotel on the beach to have drinks or food and use the sunbeds and pool if you want. In Zanzibar everyone will always be ready to help you. Room: not too big, but has everything needed. The bathroom is super cute with open ceiling, so you can watch the stars while you shower. We also had a big balcony with sofa.

This is probably my favourite low price accommodation that’s on the coast. The staff are super friendly and they make an effort to make the place unique. The food is very good and the drinks are decent. It’s a very affordable and cool place to stay. I’d definitely go back.
