Milele Lodge is located in a really small village and there are not many things to do around here, but it's amazing if you want to relax. They have a nice restaurant and a great place to hang out in the evening or during the day. The staff are really nice and they are cleaning your room (if you want that) every day. We had really nice stay here!

“Price and rating inadequate to quality.”

The room was molded and very dirty. The first night I was awakened by cockroaches on my arm. The windmill is less than a meter above your head, you have to be careful when sitting on the bed. Dirty bathroom and the drain clogged. Old and torn towels. Breakfast very modest. Staff nice but does not know english. I do not understand the rating on the booking. I would definitely give 3. Price inadequate to the standard. I do not recommend and I will not go back there.

Nice little bungalow to myself with a patio. The staff were so welcoming and served me the best service at all times. SOO good restaurant with both good breakfast, lunch and dinner! Good location just a minute from the beach

“Disappointing”

I must say I was a little bit fooled by the pictures and the rating of 8+. I should have thought twice about the price, but I just thought it was an amazing offer. The Lodge is more a hostel than a hotel, the outside space has some nice spots to relax, but chair and desk in our room appeared to be sized for children. The beach is a short walk away and quite dirty, but during low tide, it is possible to walk down the beach a bit and find a better spot. The staff was what disappointed me the most. I often felt, as if I was disturbing their peace and quite of watching movies on the phone, while their Englisch appeared insufficient at best. Still, they had to manage the reception, because the manager was not in and the owner seemed to live on the mainland. We left the lodge early after two of five night and did not do any excursions there, since we heared other guess talk about their disappointing snorceling trip organized by the Lodge. If somebody is traveling on a budget and is fine with a hostel, it might be alright, but don't Bee fooled by the 8+ Booking-rating

For a single night spent at this property, i declare myself grateful for everything Milele lodge offered us. The staff are particularly kind, check-in was quick, the property has a well-maintained garden full of palm trees and is located near the beach. Dinner and breakfast served at the property's restaurant were delicious, and the avocado-lime fresh juice it was insanely good. Thanks guys!

Most friendly staff ever! Great vibe in the evening with music and bonfire. A very chill place to hangout, everyone is so accommodating and helpful. We were allowed to move our booking without any problem and even got a better place to stay than we had ordinarily booked. Location is perfect as it is super quiet in the area and the beach has the softest sand you can imagine. There are some differences in the tide, but it is always deep enough to dip your body in and when the tide is low the water is so salty and fun to float in, a truly magical experience. The sunset from the beach is breathtaking and there is often entertainment further up on the beach. Michamvi and Milele Lodge is one of the calmest and most magical places I have visited, thanks to the amazing people there. A special shout-out to the waiter and waitress who were so nice all along. The place is a 2 minute walk from the beach. All the staff we met were just lovely. The main guy, Godlisten (yes, this is his name) went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Cheap drinks and excellent food for a lower than average price! Many people came here just to have dinner.

Location is perfect. The facility offers an outdoor lounge space to relax between the plant and under the shadows. Its only few meters away from beach. At their restaurant you can find quality local food for good price. Staff is friendly especially the main reception guy Saleh
