The room I booked was not available - and they were so kind to upgrade my stay without any cost. I really liked it here. The peace, and the sunsets are just absolute amazing. Highly recommand it.

This was my second visit to Kikoi – this time with my 85-year-old mother. We received a very warm welcome and I got the room I wanted – my mother got the one next to it which was conveniently connected by a connecting door. The rooms are spacious and you can see the sea and the wonderful white sandy beach from your bed, which is wonderful. The staff in all areas are very courteous and friendly. The whole hotel complex is lovely. and very clean. We were allowed to use one of the two rooms at no extra cost until airport transfer pick up (4 hours after the official check-out time).

The beach facing views with white sand and palm trees 🌴 combined with the lapping of the ocean water was awesome. Tranquility and peace at Kikoi Boutique Hotel was just as appreciated 😎 The place itself was always clean inside and outside, including the private pool with staff coming in every morning to clean. Staff was very polite and friendly and easy to talk with.

- The food and view are amazing. Very peaceful if you are looking to stay away from the noisy city vibes. - Emmanuel (the waiter) was very friendly and polite, if I had a restaurant I would steal him so he can work for me. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

A perfect stay in Zanzibar. Staff is wonderfull and most welcoming. We book small house with private pool and it was amaizing. The pool was perfect, location even more perfect. Only breakfast could have been more varied.

We booked the honeymoon villa with a stunning position in front of the ocean. The staff was adorable and the position was perfect, in a local village with the possibility of having two clubs nearby for the evening (Yussup Watersports and Beachbar more local and quiet, Kae Funk more lively and touristy at sunset). In addition, on the beach we met Oohlala, a fantastic local guy who accompanied us on numerous excursions and experiences. Highly recommended both Kikoi Boutique and Oohlala! This is my 7th time to visit Zanzibar and my 2nd time to stay at Kikoi Boutique and I’ve gota say it’s my favourite place to stay on the island. The rooms are wonderful and romantic. The little touch of staff turning down ur room on an evening was a lovely gesture. The AC worked perfectly and the fridge is a nice touch. I booked a room with its own pool which i love on hot days. The staff welcome you so warmly from the reception to the restaurant. The location is perfect. It’s so quiet, the beach is beautiful and the water crystal clear. To the right of the hotel is a beach bar called Yu Sup which I highly recommend for chillled vibes and a barbecue on a Saturday. Also to the left of you walk for ten minutes is a wonderful sandbank and it’s super quiet and the water is amazing. Also in that same area is Kai funk, another beach party which is a good vibe. I haven’t worn shoes for five days. I’m in love with this place completely. I read some, not so good reviews, and question if we actually stayed at the same place. You’re in Africa your gona have power cuts and water cuts and the WiFi might not be like Europe but your not in Europe. My tip is buy a local sim and buy a data package it’s cheap and reliable. Relax and appreciate the simple pace and living of Zanzibar

The rooms were clean. They cleaned daily and sprayed for mosquitoes, they have wifi access. Aircon works perfect. Staff was very friendly. Surrounding had lots of entertainment and beach party and beautiful sunset

Absolutely loved Kikoi boutique. Once I arrived I didn’t want to leave…so I didn’t. I stayed an extra two days. Everything about this place was perfect. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Loved the little touch of the staff turning down my room on an evening. The beach location was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. My favourite place in Zanzibar. Good choice of breakfast. All the staff were so lovely and friendly and I can’t wait return.
