“Nice room, nice place, safe, clean and worth the price!”

The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and the bungalow was incredibly nice. It felt safe there, because all people coming in would pass the staff. It's directly next to the beach (although when it's flood you have to go about 15 minutes to the next part of the beach to lie down as the water here is too high then). Also a beautiful garden. We had a great stay!

New management since a few months back and the staff is absolutely lovely. They really cared for us in such a nice way, making us feel almost like family. Offered to help with all sorts of things that we never asked for or would have ever expected. Thank you for a very very nice stay!

Amazing staff, and fantastic price! Mosquito net 😍 and fan works great in the evenings. Wi-Fi was shockingly consistent and worked amazingly. Solar power backup for the evenings.

Breakfast was excellent. All the food was good and a good choice on the menu. Very quiet, dry close to a lovely beach. Staff very friendly and helpful - quite a “ family” atmosphere between guests and staff. Bungalow very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is really nice: although not on 1st row, really close to the beach. The accommodations and equipments are excellent for a hotel in this budget bracket (even on Zanzibar): it was totally unexpected for me and my party, and much appreciated. Special kudos for the wonderful breakfast 🙏🏻 And finally, the Staff, that was very kind and helpful at all times: thank you all!

Breakfast was incredible (amazing omelet even though I am not an egg fan) with lots of fruits! Location is ideal for someone looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature and the hospitality of the welcoming locals. The sea is less than 100 meters away. The hotel is close to 3-4 restaurants and bars with a relaxing vibe and unlike Stonetown, the area is still immune to mass tourism arrivals which means you will find good prices and authentic experiences. In the evening, one can walk 10-20 minutes along the sandy beach to get to bars with music and even bonfires. The staff are friendly and helpful and they all speak English.

Really small place. The breakfast was nice, served individually (not a buffet), the staff was absolutely great. I didn't stay that much in the facility, since I just used it for sleeping.

The room was nice as was the garden. The staff excelled. Breakfast was good, and we ate dinner at Oleza next door (which has a wonderful chef), or at the local restaurant Trenchtown - both good value.

The location, it is like living in a small local village. The external patio and garden. The quietness of the place, you can hear all the sounds of nature. The bungalow was charming and well equipped, with a nice private place to stay outside and relax and a huge bathroom. The place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner was very good. Everything was freshly made. The kindness of the staff. The local "dalla dalla" brings you very close from stone town (last stop) or from there to other places of the east coast (like Paje).

“Truly a dream, a home away from home with incredible staff, next to stunning beaches.”

Dreamland is truly a dream - we planned to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying for five! It was a home away from home for us, a highlight of our one month trip in Tanzania. We were upgraded to a bungalow and it was stunning - spacious, comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom and a lovely balcony to sit and read and relax. The fridge and kettle were an added bonus. The location is absolutely perfect, right next to a beautiful, quiet beach and a few minutes from the bus stop where you can buy local meals and fruits. We loved the area so much - there are many beaches to explore and yet it still feels remote. Don't miss the mangrove sunset bar and the massage hut right next door! Both of us are digital nomads and the wifi was really strong, enough for video meetings, which was a huge plus. Most of all, we were blown away by the staff who quickly became dear friends and really made the stay memorable. Communication with Jodie before we arrived was seamless. Aiden made delicious breakfast and Anoti was so helpful and kind, offering laundry services and cleaning our room in the middle of our stay. Jonathan, the manager, went absolutely above and beyond, helping us with everything we could need. He even helped book us bus tickets (which ended up being quite complicated) and plan the rest of our time in Tanzania with specific recommendations and gave us connections to guides and accommodations. We loved spending time with the staff, whether joking around or sharing meaningful conversations. We could not recommend Dreamland more!

“Really comfortable and quite place close to the beach of Michamvi”

Very, very nice bungalow (room 2) with a roofed terrace in a quite place with a spacious garden ten minutes from the bus station (straight forward at the end of the road, keep left, close to the mangroves and beeach). I booked four nights and stayed for a week, because it was so relaxing. WLAN worked well and hot water was available. Electric kettle for coffee and tea was in the room as well as a silent fridge, which I really enjoyed. The staff bothered a lot and were very kind. You could ask for anything. And private sphere, which is very important to me, was kept at all times. The bed was great, with the mosquito net and fan above, I liked the relatively hard matrasses, felt new. You need to ask for cleaning the room when you wish and then Ainut will do it thoroughly. Warm regards to everybody. The two dogs did not bark at all. For breakfast, I had fresh made omelette every day, otherwise it was like buffet style, some fruits, bread and pancakes (unfotunately cold because I was always late, nevertheless with some potential for improvement).
