The location and grounds were lovely. The rooms were comfortable. Restaurant prices were very reasonable and food was adequate although we prefer more seasoned food. The pool was wonderful.

Staff very friendly and always happy to help. Food was exceptional. Catered to my husband's gluten free diet without any issues. We opted to do the lovers package which included a couples massage, sunset boat trip and candle lkt dinner with wine included. We felt that it was excellent value for money and again the food was oustanding! They even took the extra effort to scatter petals around our table, have music playing and our own personal waiter. Right on the beach front. Stunning views. Room was decorated to a high standard and was extremely clean. The room looked right out onto the pool and beach beyond that. The hotel is very quiet and small. Perfect for relaxing.

Baladin is absolutely stunning! Situated on the best beach in Zanzibar, with natural but modern architecture and facilities, the staff are so attentive, and provided the most special Honeymoon for us. Every activity we wanted could be booked through them at affordable rates. I can’t say enough about how good their service is, Baladin is a 5 star hotel and highly highly recommend it. Stylish small boutique hotel right on an amazing beach. Not many sellers on the beach or people in general. Great to relax. The food was also very good - focaccia and bread are homemade!! The area is great and you can also go to other restaurants nearby if you want to change

“Perfect slice of luxury”

Absolutely stunning propoerty for a great price. Defintely feels like an intimate luxury resort, but it's very simple. The rooms are done up really beautifully and the space is gorgeous. staff are so friendly too. Defintely a good shout for zanzibar! `it is right on the beach, perfect location!

Amazing place! We stayed in a two story lodge which was beautiful may I add. Air conditioner and fan were also in the room which helped a lot with the heat! The outside shower was definitely the highlight for me and my family! There were only a few lodges which made it feel very private and secluded. The pool was a few meters away from us and so was the beach. The restaurant had amazing options for VERY reasonable prices in addition to being delicious! The place was beautiful beyond belief. I 100% recommend you visit here.

I loved the modern beautiful chalets, the staff was amazing, location is just right at the beach, that was just amazing. Food was great and tasty. Also the pool area was just top notch. We booked the Baladin lovers package for my husband’s 40th celebration and wow they went over and beyond with ensuring that the celebration was a success. The 4 course dinner was amazing. The decor? Breathtaking and beautiful. Well done Baladin Team.
