Overview
Set within the sand dunes, Desert Bivouac Mhamid is located in the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane, 7 km from the centre. It offers traditional, nomadic tents and seating areas. Camel rides and excursions can be organised. Each room at Desert Bivouac Mhamid has a view of the dunes. You will have access to shared bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included and served each morning. Traditional dishes from the region prepared with organic produce can also be enjoyed, upon prior reservation. Free private parking is possible on site and Zagora is 100 km from the property.

“Unique experience”
Our stay at Desert Bivouac camp was truly remarkable! Every aspect of the experience, from start to finish, was exceptional. The desert ambiance, with its stunning dunes and starry night sky, was enchanting. The food offered a delicious array of traditional dishes, including the refreshing mint tea. We even had the pleasure of tasting fire-baked bread in the middle of desert. Ismail organized a fantastic two-day trip to Erg Chigaga's high dunes at an affordable price. We tried activities like camel rides and sandboarding, creating unforgettable moments. I highly recommend this Sahara Desert camp. Ismail and the dedicated staff made it an unforgettable adventure. Ismail and all staff are very friendly and welcoming. The camp looks super nice. Near to small sand dunes. They offer also an accomodation in big desert or a day trip to big dunes. In the evening they made fire and played traditional musíc for us. Dinner was big and delicious, different types of food was served, all delicious. We have enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the hospitality :)
