Camp in the middle of the dessert - 2 hours drive from the closest city. Clean tent with good bed, shared showers. Great local food, atmosphere, silence, stars in the night. Drive is not included, cost is around 120€, but it is only option to get there - by 4x4 offroad vehicle 2 hours drive.

“Amazing camp, warm hospitality, and incredible sunset”

We had a wonderful experience at this camp. The location was excellent, and the 4x4 driver was very kind. During the journey, he showed us many things and gave us lots of interesting explanations about the region. We were also lucky to encounter animals in the desert, including ostriches and a gazelle (oryx), which made the experience even more magical and memorable. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the dunes, a truly unforgettable moment. We highly recommend this camp. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent service and warm hospitality!

Location was stunning. Food was tasty. We enjoyed the camel ride to see the sunset.

Sleeping in the desert was a truly magical experience. We really felt in good hands. The place is almost three hours away from civilisation and can only be reached with a guide in a 4x4 vehicle. The guide waits at a prearranged location and takes the guests into the desert. The journey itself is already a unique experience!

Amazing locality of the camp. Litteraly in the middle of nowhere. Tent has only bed, but all was clean and smells new. The bathroom is shared but it was clean and had a hot water. Dinner and breakfast was good. And also the communication about pick up point was quick and very good.

We loved our stay at chegaga starlight camp. From the beginning onward communication was very easy and everyone was super helpful. We got picked up in a small village by our kind driver Sahel and were brought to the camp (~2h drive) which was off the beaten track. We had a beautiful sunset camel ride with Ali and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Had a delicious dinner and afterwards we enjoyed traditional music and an amazing sky full of stars (including milky way). We can really recommend this place :)

the camp was everything you need to feel the Sahara, you cannot expect an hotel or something luxury, you have to share a very clean bathroom and the trip is a couple of hours in a trail road, but what do you expect. in exchange you will have all the feelings of being alone in a wonderful environment, a thrilling sunset a starred sky like no others, quality time with some nomad music and a breathtaking sundown. what could you ask more. the staff is nice, always ready to help or answer your questions. definitely worth it
