Our stay was great. The owners were super friendly and made our stay perfect. The appartment is well equiped, with all the necessities to make our sray comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had all we needed. There were several restaurants in walking distance from the appartment.

Everything ok. The flat spacious and clean. Communication with the owner is on high level, very quick.

“The Worst Experience of Our Lives”

I am sensory sensitive and have a strong negative reaction to sounds. It can manifest as intense emotional reactions as well as physiological reactions. If you or your family member(s) are SENSORY SENSITIVE and/or NEURODIVERGENT, we would strongly recommend you to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE PLAQUE. The apartment is subject to a high level of noise pollution, and the soundproof appears to be minimal to non-existent. We could hear EVERY SINGLE sound coming from the corridor and neighbours including but not limited to loud conversations, stomping, slamming doors, moving furniture, toilet flushing, etc. We arrived late at night and contacted the owner the following morning. We requested the owner to waive cancellation fees for our non-refundable booking and resolve this peacefully so we could find a much quieter place to stay at. Unfortunately, she was hostile, ignorant and kept insisting that the lack of soundproof is a common and well-known issue in Malta. If we had known that such a significant extent of sound pollution was present in the apartment, we would have never chosen it for our holiday. We had no other choice but to involve Booking’s Customer Service who were very understanding and supportive. They cancelled our booking in no time; we only had to pay for the night we stayed in and a cleaning fee. When we were packing up our belongings, the owner showed up unannounced and made every effort to gaslight us. We left as soon as we possibly could. Having stayed in apartments in many different countries, we have never encountered this level of unprofessional behaviour. The apartment was supposed to serve as a safe haven where I could relax and regain a sense of control when I was feeling overwhelmed. Contrarily, I experienced an intense sensory overwhelm which was particularly distressing and caused a physical pain for me. I spent our first holiday day sobbing, in pain and with a panic attack, not to mention being homeless in a foreign country.

Communication was good throughout. The apartment was clean & well equipped, general quiet with some noise above occasionally but didn’t disturb for long. Nearby street parking was possible but could be a problem at busier times, bus service not far away. Supermarkets listed in apartment which was useful.

“Ideal apartment for a family or a group of friends”

Fantastic apartment, very spacious, clean and very well equipped. Since we travelled in March, the neighbourhood was very tranquil, with us being (I think) the only tourists in that area (the host said that in the summer Mgarr is a popular destination for tourists because its proximity to Gnejna Bay Beach). The bus station is at 5 minutes walking distance and there are busses going to the Gozo Terminal Ferry, Valetta. Mosta, so it is pretty well connected. Looking forward to returning :D

The host was very attentive from the moment we booked. She sent tons of information about the arrival, how to accept the keys and information about the apartment pre-arrival, and checked in regularly. The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The host also had information about the local area, shops, bars, etc in the apartment for us to consider. Overall, a great location and stay.

Very spacious apartment, well-equipped. Using the public transport, you can get to a gorgeous beach (Ghajn Tuffieha) in about 10 minutes. There is also a good connection between the apartment and Mosta or Valetta. Mgarr is a nice and calm town. There are some very good restaurants just a few minutes by walking distance from the apartment.

The house is very thoughtfully set up, spacious and perfect for a large family. Every room has a trash bin and a fan. The kitchen has more than you need as a visitor. The neighborhood is pleasant and the building is well secured.

The place was very nice, the owner was very communicative and very helpful with any questions we had :) Very well equipped kitchen. The mosquito net in every window and door was really nice, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended! :)

“I would never complain if I were the owner of such an apartment”

This apartment is located near Mgarr town center and is super nice, very spacious and a great base for exploring Malta by car. We caught a good Apt price. Also the neighborhood is safe, ideal for evening walks, also 2 kilometers from the beach. Before we arrived, we received clear instructions, also the key was waiting for us in a small padlock in the building. In the apartment we found a tourist guide book with very useful recommendations. Nice location, new building, 2 small balconies, view from one of them to Parish the church. Don't worry, the church bells are barely audible. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, the windows have mosquito nets, there is even a welcome bottle of water. They also have a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Turkish coffee and tea bags. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, even a washing machine, enough towels, kitchen utensils, ironing board, clothes dryer,toiletries. The building also has an elevator. You have 2 UK-EU adapters for mobile phones in the apartment. The supermarket is only a 5-minute walk away. You also have to buy drinking water. We mostly ate in restaurants in Malta, but you have some really great restaurants in the neighborhood with Maltese food. Leanne, the owner of the apartment, is simply wonderful, we met her, a simple kind lady, nice, she even allowed us to check in early on the first day. That was really generous of her. She was available on Whatsapp for any further questions. We had no problem with parking in the neighborhood in the evening.If you want to use the air conditioner you have to pay with euro coins. Otherwise you have a fan in every room. Wifi was fast and reliable . Check-in and check-out are very simple, no problems. Neighbors, farmers, as far as I've noticed they grow strawberries, were very kind to us and always said hello. Check-in and check-out are very simple, no problems. The apartment is for 8 people, imagine how great it is for 2 people😊.
