A great place to stay in Djerba if you’re not looking for all-inclusive big hotels. Very beautiful, especially the garden. I think every room has a private garden which is very peaceful. It’s also close to the beach. The owners are a very friendly couple. I would return for sure!

Location, people, beauty

Hosts were magnificent. They were welcoming, helpful and kind. We stayed in the one bedroom but although there were four of us the sofabeds were comfortable, the apartment spotless and probably one of the nicest places I have stayed in Tunisia. Beach very close by

“A beautiful oasis with amazing hosts.”

The apartment was amazing, we had a lovely private area (covered and open) to relax in, and it even had a small BBQ. Everything was very tastefully decorated and very clean, with a small kitchen to cook in if you don't feel like eating out. Parking was also available, so we didn't have to park on the narrow street. The location was perfect, only a few metres to the beach and only a few minutes walk from a large supermarket with everything one needs and a very impressive wine sortiment. Apart from the wonderful accommodation, I cannot express enough what incredible hosts Nicolas and Barbara were. From small but thoughtful gestures like bringing us pastries for the first breakfast, or a bottle of cold water and juice in the fridge, to going above and beyond to help us when our car broke down, leaving a huge puddle of oil on their beautiful sandstone driveway. They helped us deal with the car rental agency as the staff at the agency couldn't speak English and my rusty French wasn't good enough to do so. Instead of being annoyed that we potentially ruined their driveway, they were so kind and helpful, even helping us to push the car onto the main road to be towed. We have travelled a to a lot of different countries around the world, and stayed in many accommodations, but never met such kind and helpful hosts like Barbara and Nicolas, who were always ready to give us tips and explain where to find everything we needed. I only wish I could give them more stars, as this kind of friendliness is truly exceptional. We cannot recommend a stay at Dar Yasmina enough, our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

The house and the pool were beautiful and big. Even much better than on the pictures. Everything also looked very new and clean. The location was also perfect near the beach and restaurants. And last but not least, the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family and will definitely try to come back!

The hospitality of the host and hostess is very impressive. Under the flower-fulled courtyard, having a self made meal must be pleasant!

“Simply wonderful”

Nicolas picked me up directly from the airport. At first, he was so careful to show me the whole district, highlighting the best spotlights and things to do / to visit. The property is fantastic: facilities are there, and everything is perfect in term of cleanliness. In any case, everything you would need, Nicolas is super reactive to meet your requests. He's kind (probably one of the kindest people I have ever met in my life), helpful and respectful of the guest privacy. He's always here in case you need whatever in a more than discrete way. We had the opportunity to benefit from the swim pool, which is amazing. Nicolas helped us with a lot of recommendations and suggestions. I definitively rank this place as one of the best I had (and I travelled a lot!)

Typical "djerbian" house, safe and spacious, we get the yellow door one,, very local feeling in the...not a big resort hotel...which we don't like anyway,, 3 restaurants close the accommodation, easy for late dinner as you won't have other very close. Many taxi easy to access. Recommended Massage from Rachida, which can be called and enjoy a very useful relaxing massage. Access to beach, horse, camel ride... walk to the pelican island in 2.5h was amazing

We liked everything, the hosts are lovely, they make you feel at home. The location is good, lots of restaurants near by, shops, supermarket, and a nice sandy beach. It is a wonderful place to stay.

“A beautiful place to stay”

Brilliant location - a few steps from the beach, with two restaurants on your doorstep. A 10 minute walk to a small supermarket which also sells alcohol. The house was gorgeous and clean, with a beautiful swimming pool that was lit up at night. Hosts couldn't do enough to help! Would 100% return.

A very nice appartment, with private veranda, garden view, good WiFi, small kitchen, big bathroom, free and safe car parking, very near to the beach, which we didn't visit because of bad and windy weather. Nicholas and Barbara are very helpful and smiling. Two good restaurants nearby, one by foot. A lot of massage places in the area (80-90 tnd pp). We had a car,( if not , i don't know how someone can get around for example to houmt souk).

“Relaxing”

Nicolas and Barbara were very friendly and were available anytime i needed anything. On the drive from then airport he pointed out places to visit and also restaurants to go to. The beach was a couple of minutes away but the garden area around my apartment was quiet and relaxing. A pain au chocolate left on the first morning was delicious. I wanted a relaxing trip and that was exactly what I got.
