“Worth Traveling For Just to Stay Here Again”

Few hotels warrant a return trip to a country just for the stay, but Dar El Kahina is the rare exception. Having traveled extensively across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, I can confidently say this is one of the finest properties I have ever encountered. From the moment you step inside, an immediate sense of peace washes over you. The limited number of rooms creates an incredibly intimate, tranquil atmosphere, and our room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally spacious. Foodies will love the breakfast: everything is homemade, from the pastries and jams to the legendary French toast. Do not skip the local honey or the goat's cheese—they are to die for! What truly elevates Dar El Kahina, however, is the staff. Isabelle and Sameh redefine hospitality; Isabelle seamlessly organized an unforgettable trip to the Sahara for me, while Sameh delivered a truly world-class massage right on-site. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I am already counting down the days until I can return.

Exceptional hospitality, Isabelle made us feel like at home. The guesthouse is clean and well maintained. The rooms are newly decorated and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent and served by a pool. The neighbourhood is a short walk from a nice beach.

The accomodation is really beautifully decorated. The breakfast is very good and it was lovely to sit outside near the pool to have breakfast. The beach is very close.

“Amazing place in Djerba”

This was by far the best place we stayed at during our 10 day trip across tunisia. Isabell is so kind and helped us since day 1. She helped us to book a boat tour and a scooter for an excellent price. The breakfast was amazing since it was a mix of traditional and continental food. The rooms had a brilliant design and everything worked perfectly, there were very spacious as well. The pool is amazing at night because there are lights that make it magical. The location is perfect as well because it is right next to restaurants and just 200m from the beach. Taxis are available as well if you want to go to any other place on the island, just ask the host. This is one of the few properties on booking that deserve a 10/10 rating

We had a fantastic stay – Isabelle is a wonderful host! The rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, very clean, and cozy. The pool was perfect for relaxing, especially when we didn’t feel like going to the beach. I highly recommend getting a massage during your stay – it’s a great way to unwind.

Isabelle is a very nice host. She is always available to help and organise plans. You can rely on her for planning everything for you and recommend nice food. The location is nice near the beach. The breakfast was good near the pool. I do recommend the place for sure.

“Calm paradise”

Isabelle is an amazing host and made us feel welcome all the time! The room is big, it has a nice balcony and everything has been renovated recently. Cleaning standards were way higher than everywhere else in Tunisia. Breakfast was very good, specially the sweet treats, with freshly baked brioche or cakes each morning. Location is good if you have a car. You can walk to the nearest beach, however it's nicer to drive 5/10 min to a beach without all the all inclusive resorts activity.
