“Nice holiday home that needs some improvements”
Peacefully situated and spacious apartment, with excellent connections to Avignon, Arles, Nimes etc. Free parking space, very nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen (though don’t expect top quality utensils), good internet connection, good facilities like laundry machine and dish washer. This is the middle and largest apartment in a row of three (the other two can be found as ‘Le Mas Saint Jean, with one bedroom, and Le Mas de Guiguite, also with one bedroom + mezzanine. In the presentation of these other two apartments on Booking, the pictures are mixed with pictures from this one, at least in Sept. 2025). Although it says three bedrooms in the description, the two bedrooms on the top floor are connected through an open space, so in practice you have two bedrooms. There is air conditioning on the ground floor, which functions very well, and on the upper floor, where it is not so optimally placed, but still does the job. There is a nice terrace, which will probably be too hot for the daytime in plain summer, but is nice in the mornings and evenings. It was very kind of the owner to allow us to enter the apartment before the usual check-in time. As we missed the sign for the holiday home and therefore ended up at the neighboring house, a friendly neighbor helped us with showing the apartment and where the keys were hidden, which was very helpful, as no information on where to find the keys was provided upfront.

“Lovely stay near Avignon”
Great location. Near to Avignon - only about 25 minutes to a free car park, with free bus into the centre. DO NOT leave any valuables visible in the car as this car park is notorious for break-ins. We had no problems though. Quiet. In a small village - No shop. Good sized rooms. Comfy sofas. Nice outdoor seating area, with BBQ

quiet and nice built. good base for exploring western Provence and Gard, and especially the smaller authentic cities nearby (Beaucaire, Barbentane, …) and the large places (Arles, Avignong, Nîmes, St. Remy, Alpilles… highly recommended: Uzès (saturday morning market, highly frequented, be there early in summer!), Gorges du Gardon (reserve your Kajak)
