Le Robinson was the perfect last stop on our drive home from Italy. A delightful little hotel in a beautiful setting, so unlike our other corporate soulless overnight stopping places - and much cheaper! Rita was a charming and helpful host who went out of her way to make our stay memorable, from laying out our lakeside picnic to providing a great breakfast; I just wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t need it, but there is no dinner available in the hotel, although I believe there are restaurants a short drive away.

The property has been in the family for generations and is full of old wooden furniture. Our host Rita was so welcoming and helpful. There is no restaurant for supper but Rita went to collect pizza and laid a table for us by the lake. The garden is large and beautiful. There are only two rooms at the moment but there are plans to extend.

Hosts were helpful and the additional paid for breakfasts were nice. Their little dog was a comical character. Huge garden, with lots of unusual trees and plants, plus a lake and islands to explore. The “Robinson” is actually an old style family entertainment park with mini-golf, swings, bowling alley, boats and a peddle car racing track. So if you have young kids and are on a long trip you could keep them happy for a while in the park and buy them an ice cream. The family park is open from 14.00 to 19.00 in the summer. Bedrooms tastefully decorated. There are fishing lakes outside the property. The location is good for visiting the Eastern Somme, St-Quentin and Pierrefonds (Merlins) Castle.

Place was very clean, tidy, quiet with thoughtful details and hosts were very helpful, friendly and were willing to stay up late to let us in when we couldn't arrive till 11pm. We were just passing though in Feb on way to Alps for night stop over but seemed a nice place to stay for at least a few days to explore their park and lake and adjacent canal, maybe another time in the summer.

We liked everything about this place: the owners were very welcoming, the room was lovely, the bed super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a quality place offering a quiet, yet convenient location. We will definitely stay at the Robinson again at the next opportunity.

The service was like what you learn in the book on hospitality. I am missing that lately with a lot of hotels. It is the details like toileteries and little chocolate and the folding of the toilet paper. Very much appreciated! Keep your work going.

this place is close to perfection for me and my other half,,,, on arrival the owner greeted us with a smile and personally showed us round gave us all info required and more,, the bed superb, shower hot and powerful, in room facilities kettle tea/coffee were very much appreciated,, and finally the breakfast WOW,,, my partner she got the small Breaky I got the big boy Breaky and the coffee simply the best,, I will highly recommend and certainly stay again in the near future

“Service beyond expectations”

After another full day of cycling, we checked into Le Robinson and were warmly welcomed by the owner. She went well beyond what may be expected to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. While the place no longer operates a restaurant, she was very kind to help us get some food on-site.. There is a large private park behind the place, where you can very pleasantly relax. The old playground equipment brought back childhood memories. The room was very spacious and had a good shower. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough.

This was a delightful, slightly quirky little overnight stop. Our hostess, Rita, was welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and the en suite was very good. The guest house is an old pub, now only open during the day, so we spent a quiet evening exploring the extensive gardens and local canal. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely stop there again.
