“The best stay ever!!”

Friendly staff. Beautiful room overlooking the town square and altogether a delightful experience.

Big bathroom and tub..lots of hot water ..but difficult to shower without a slip and fall in the garden tub..The coffee machine is amazing!

Great food reasonably priced.. Staff were lovely and helpful. good location in a lovely village close to a lot of attractions and places to visit. we will stay again for a little break.

“Disappointing - we wanted a traditional French hotel with character but it felt old and run down.”

The room was at the back of the hotel, so away from the main road and with no traffic noise. The hotel had a car park, and a pool which we used. It was a very short walk to the small town centre. Our holiday in France was great once we had left the hotel.

Excellent 2 bedroom apartment in ancient tower right next to the church. Recently renovated to a high standard. Clean. Comfortable beds. Self-catering facilities were an unexpected bonus

“Disappointing”

We were barely welcomed on arrival but only sent to our room which was located on the 2nd floor. No help with the luggages was offered. When entering the room the blinds were shut so the first impression was not enchanting. Bed condition was disastrous. Not only we found dead ants on the bed sheets (which made us think that the room was made weeks ago and not refreshed upon our arrival) but dead flyes too. Towels did not smell fresh and had stains and holes. No soap in the shower dispenser. Water in Bathtub did not drain and the faucet was partially broken. Overall the experience was highly disappointing as minimum comfort wasn't met. Check out the next morning was equally poor in terms of service. We had to wait until the person in charge came out past 8am.

“Country hospitality in Meyssac.”

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed in the annexe building on our first visit and main building on our return. We don’t eat meat, but our mushroom omelette was hearty and delicious. Martine the owner was very friendly and hospitable.

“Worked well for us”

This was a nice stopover on our walk through the region. The check in time is early which is appreciated. Good shower, clean room, quiet, comfortable bed. All good. We didn't have the breakfast.

It was in a lovely village setting. The restaurant was well laid out and the food top class. Both for the evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very kind and helpful. I liked seeing the chickens with their little chicks roaming around the car park area. The bed was comfortable and very tranquil. I would definitely go again.

Incredible property with a beautiful bedroom and big pool. Bed very comfortable and air con in the room was much appreciated. Restaurant food was delicious and very good value for money.

“Good place to stay if you like animals!”

Decent menu options for dinner and good value for money. Lovely swimming pool. The room we had was in an annexe by the pool and was very spacious.

The breakfast was ok and the staff efficient. The whole place was quirky. There was air con.

Really nice pool and that was open until we went to bed. Superb dinner and breakfast. We do recommend going for a walk in the city.

Quirky hotel set in small town of Meyssac. Pretty town with many independent shops and restaurants and also Collonges La Rouge is just down the Road - a must visit! The hotel has free ranging chickens and they are certainly roaming freely along with friendly cats. Owner also has donkeys and sheep (nearby field). Great for children. Swimming pool was not available at time of visit. Restaurant was popular. We booked it for location and parking. Room was comfortable and opened onto garden.

The location is lovely. The pool is good. There are numerous chickens & various animals wandering about freely, which we liked. Our room was clean & comfortable & had A/C. On our first visit, 2 weeks ago, the restaurant was very good & on the strength of this experience, we booked to stay on our return journey from Spain.
