“Really nice hotel, very close to outlet city.”
Great location with view of the lake, spacious and comfortabke room, breakfast was very nice. We also had a very good dinner in the restaurant, food was amazing.

Great stay at Stausee Hotel! Excellent service, delicious breakfast, and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Conveniently located near Metzingen Outlet – perfect for a relaxing trip with shopping nearby. Highly recommended!

“The best hotel experience during the trip.”
The breakfast is great, food quality is good, a nice lady at the front desk will prepare your table and drink as well. Really great service. The view is fantastic, it was snowing when I arrived, the snow view is magnificent. Our suite is large and quiet.

Lovely hotel overlooking a reservoir. Staff are very friendly, and attentive to the needs of their guests. They were very helpful, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Rooms were very comfortable.

“peace found in nature”

“Good food and very dog welcome”
We traveled with dogs. We chose the hotel because it has many paths for walking dogs, silence and parking. A pleasant welcome, a bed for the dog and treats awaited us in the room. A really nice gesture. The dinner in the restaurant was at the top level, as was the breakfast, many dishes available, very tasty. The room was clean and very nice.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location. Rooms are spacious and overlook the Stausee. The hotel has a restaurant that serves very tasty typical German dishes. Breakfast is good too. Staff is as expected from a German family run hotel: very polite and friendly.

“Great view”
The hotel is a little far away from metzingen, about 10~20 minutes by car. The scenery is great outside the hotel, and there are no other buildings nearby. If you want to get to the hotel, you should rent a car as for your convenience.

“Comfort, good breakfast and friendly staff”
We booked a total of six rooms. Most of them were great and comfortable, with the exception of one where the roller blind was broken. The location is fantastic, right next to the reservoir. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon check-out, we realised that Booking.com didn't correctly pick up our booking modifications made online, resulting in us paying more than the actual rate. We contacted the hotel, and they promptly issued a refund.
