“Quiet, comfortable and spacious”

The property was extremely clean and very comfortable. There was ample space and it didn’t feel cramped. It was a very quiet area and even though the owners were in the main house, the accommodation did not feel close or overlooked.

Cooking facilities excellent, and everything possible provided for relaxing meals in such a beautiful, peaceful setting.

This cozy guesthouse has everything you need - and more! Beautiful spacious bedrooms- with comfy beds; plenty of hanging space and excellent lighting. Blackout curtains throughout the house were excellent. The shower was nice and big and the products provided were high quality. Kitchen well set out, everything super clean. We used the heating , as it was cold & wet outside; and it warmed all spaces well. The outdoor decking was our entertainment- as plenty of gorgeous native birds came for their morning feed. At night we watched some Netflix on the giant tv. The quiet surrounding & tall local trees made this a lovely 2 day escape.

Gillys Guesthouse is beautifully appointed. It has everything you could need and Susanne is a generous host. The view from the balcony of the trees is a perfect place to unwind. The local visiting bird life made our stay feel magical. Although there are houses nearby, we did not feel they intruded on our privacy. Susanne is contactable if needed, but essentially we were self sufficient with the excellent instructions provided.

Beautiful quiet spot and modern comfy house with everything you need, super clean also. Great location, quiet with bush land and lots of birdlife. A short walk to the local jetty on the lake. The owner was also so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
