We liked the spaciousness and comfort of the home which was designed to provide views from all the living areas. Outside is a spacious deck for enjoying meals, blue skies and sunsets. The house is in a quiet location, a 20 minute walk from Metung village with its general store, chemist and several options for eating dining or take away. The kitchen was well equipped and the general cleanliness of the house was of a high standard.

The whole property was perfect. The layout in particular is great for us to find a quite place to have some time to yourself. Ver easy to sit outside and get lost in the view.

“Great place for a winter escape”
The view is absolutely spectacular! The split level and second floor meant that everyone could find a space for themselves. The heating kept us toasty warm during the cold winter days. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we could even get some baking in with the kids. The walking path at the end of the drive took us straight down to the water. Metung is the biggest little country town but it is breathtakingly beautiful. The bakery is a great place for an easy quick feed. And the hotel was delicious and had big portions (which explains the price). But definitely book even in winter because that place was packed! We'll definitely be back. Great place for a winter escape.
