In the centre of the beautiful small town of Metsovo, you can enjoy the friendly atmosphere of this family-run hotel. Here, you can stay in a relaxed atmosphere and try freshly prepared regional cuisine in the hotel restaurant. Home-made traditional Greek dishes are prepared using only the finest local products. Why not try the veal with noodles from Metsovo, leek pie or kondosouvli? Some of the rooms offer views of the distant mountains and the central square of Metsovo. The rooms also have traditional furniture and some also offer a fireplace. The wine cellar is stocked with local wines, and in the bar you can enjoy a glass of your favourite beer, a coffee or a non-alcoholic drink. The staff look forward to welcoming you.

“Metsovo a world away from coastal Greece. Air so clean we felt light headed!”
A bit quirky but modern bathroom. Right nr the square with lots of ‘people watching’ from our room. Breakfast large and tasty. Dinner was excellent, tasty and large portions. Staff lovely.

“warm comfort”
I enjoyed the antique and local owned ambience of Galaxis. The rooms are old and with creaky knotty pine doors, floors and windows. as a wood worker I appreciate the local carpentry skills that made this place. The beds and washroom have been modernized to comfort. Do not expect a tea or coffee pot in the room, but you do get a fireplace (with no wood) WIFI sucks, just forget it, use your phone. The location is spectacular, The building a gem and the staff very friendly and kind. Parking to the side. And my god how long did it take to cover the front with ivy?

Friendly staff, excellent food in an amazingly large outdoor area under trees. The hotel is in a prime location right in the village square. The breakfast was tasty - not a buffet style but more personal with a small selection of boiled eggs, cheese, ham, cake, toast and homemade jams. Yoghurt and omelette were offered too.

Everything here is fabulous. The hotel itself, the owners, the tavern, the food and last but not least, Metsovo! I have been over 10 times and i will go whenever I go to Kefalonia! I recommend 100%

“Good for basic needs”
We liked the breakfast and we had a complimentary beer. The lady that runs the place was very sweet. We were given water, too. There was good wifi.
