“Restful stay in beautiful surroundings”

location was perfect with a view of the sea and castle from the large balcony and a short stroll into the town. Maria is an attentive and friendly host.

The two-bedroom apartment was very clean, i.e. the sheets and towels; however, there was a noticeable damp smell in the apartment, especially inside the wardrobes and kitchen cabinets. The toaster and frying pan showed signs of heavy use and scratches; ideally, they should not have been included, or they should have been replaced with new ones. All the mattresses were old and had not been replaced, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. On the positive side, the location is excellent, with a beautiful view of the beach and the open horizon. It is about 5–7 minutes from the centre of Methoni. The owner was very discreet, but she did not clearly inform us via email or SMS about the payment procedure through Booking. Specifically, although the full amount was initially supposed to be paid via Booking, after we proceeded with the reservation and payment via web banking, the owner confirmed the booking and later cancelled the transaction (something we were not aware could be done within the Booking system, and we were not informed about it). At the end of the stay, she requested that the full amount be paid in cash or by card (POS). This was an unexpected experience, as we believed from the beginning that the reservation had already been fully paid, and we were later unsure whether the amount had been held. In the end, the owner processed the payment via POS, and we completed the payment that way.

Nice peaceful location. Marina was a lovely, friendly host. 10 minute walk to the town centre.

The views of Sapienza island and Methoni Castle from the balcony are stunning. The apartment is clean and functional, a perfect base to swim every day and explore the Western peleponnese.

Lovely studio apartment a short walk from the beach and the town. We’ll be staying again next year! A great base for all the local historical places like Methoni Castle, Nestor’s Palace, etc.

We were welcomed on our arrival by Maria who showed us to our apartment and made us Greek coffee. The apartment was clean , cool and spacious with lovely views of the sea and castle from the balcony . The location of the apartments is peaceful and we were able to walk into Methoni from the apartment. Maria was attentive throughout the week and a good host .

It is a quiet place, big rooms - it's a little old furniture, but we liked it. The balcony I perfect place to meet the day or to se the sun going down. The city is 5 min away - nice restaurants - tavern Niko - very nice people working there.

Big apartment, very close to the sea, a beach with no sunbeds, just the sand and the sea. All the needed facilities, kitchen, bathroom, balcony. The host, lady Maria, not an English speaker, but very friendly. Cool house, we used the air conditioning only once. Very clean, the host cleaned the apartment and changed the sheets twice in 7 nights. There are a few tavernas in the neighbourhood quite good

The apartment is located close to a very nice beach where we went swimming. It was in a quiet area, but only a short walk from a couple of restaurants. It is also within an easy walk of the centre of Methoni, where there are several nice restaurants, as well as Methoni Castle.
