Τhe hostess was very kind , pleasant , generous . The room was clean , quiet with all the necessary comforts ( ac , little kitchen etc ) .

Matoula was very attentive to our needs. She even gave us beach towels when ours were still wet. There is a large and comfortable outside seating area. The room is well equipped and the linen very clean. There is a kitchenette complete with kettle and matoula left us tea and coffee.

Everything was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

“A splendid and cozy place in Methana”

The studio and the garden are a splendid place to stay and relax during your vacation in Methana. Metoula is a wonderful host. She takes care of all the needs. We will definitely go back and stay there.

The owner was very nice. The place is very nice for the summer. We were there in March. There were no hot water and the air condition didn't work.

Considering we decided to travel to more places in Greece on a budget than fewer places that cost more we were very happy with our stay. Normally I would rate a place at this level at a score of around 8 but the kindness, care and consideration of our wonderful host makes us feel a 10 is deserved. What a lovely lady Matoula is… she made us feel absolutely at home as though she was a kindly relative we were staying with not just a host. There was only one issue with our stay - something was broken which was not our hosts fault - once we mentioned it she moved heaven and earth (like Greek Goddess :) to get it fixed promptly and we were full of respect for her efforts. The nicest part of our stay apart from making a new friend was the wonderful front patio with it’s water view to one side, shady trees, cooling breeze in a unseasonal heatwave and comfy seating. We enjoyed pooping down to the shops for great coffee and Greeky breakfast goods within minutes to come back and have a comfy enjoyable start to the day. Again each time we returned “home” from an adventure we would gravitate to the patio. Despite being budget rooms we all had great sleeps. We would love to return to lovely and very different Methana and will stay at Aerides Studios to see our friend Matoula (and her sister and young Nick who greeted us when we arrived). Thank you for a special and memorable stay :) xx

I had the best welcome from my host and communication was great! i highly recommend this studio just outside the port of Methana... in a quiet part of the town and very close to the hot springs...

Everything was great. I checked in later than I should have and Aerides studio's stuff were adaptable. The location is quiet, just near the sea and the port. Methana has nice taverns and places with coffee.

We had a great stay! The host was so kind and helped us out because our bus did not take us to the right place so she called a taxi to come find us and bring us to her place. Methana is a lovely place to visit for all of its beautiful nature, natural springs, and lovely people. This is the best place you could stay in Methana!

The warmth, kindness and friendlies of the hosting lady are exceptional. It feels home here! Greatly located, very tidy facility with everything needed. Thank you for my stay here!

Very kind host, she made us great greek coffee in the morning and gave us some home-made liquour in the evening. Good location, close to everything in Methana. Nice and clean room with everything you need, and a great terrace! The bed was comfortable too. We'd go there again someday.

“Real hospitality”

A perfect place to stay in beautiful Methana! Signora Merula is a great person, so kind, cordial and helpful. She makes one feel really at home. The property is in the centre of Methana, near the beach, seafront, restaurants, cafes, bars , supermarket, everything. My room was spacious, with a small kitchenette, and my bed was king size and comfortable. I loved every minute of my stay at Aerides Studios, and would gladly return. Thanks again for everything!

“Ideal choice”

Absolutely perfect and very tidy. Located in an idyllic location close to the port and the famous local spring baths. There is a great variety of restaurants within walking distance. The start of the volcano paths not more than 30' by car.

The location was very pretty, shaded by trees, with terraces to sit out on. It was within easy walking distance of the town. Matula, our hostess was the essence of friendliness and went out of her way to help us in any way that she could. Our room was ideal for us, with everything that we needed. People make places; and Matula made our stay in Methana memorable. We look forward to going back and meeting her again.

Everything was fantastic, the host was very welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth a trip to Methana and you must stay here!

“Amazing experience”

The place is lovely but what puts it over the top is the friendliness of the host. She was beyond helpful with everything we needed. I travel quite a lot but I have never met a host so nice and sweet. Anything you need, you just ask for it.
