Overview
The family-run Hotel Palatinum is 10 minutes' drive from Metaponto Lido beach and next to Magna Graecia archaeological area. It offers free parking and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Each room at the Palatinum Hotel comes with a TV and private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. The hotel can also accommodate up to 200 people in its congress centre. The Colucci family have been welcoming guests for over 30 years. They serve a buffet breakfast each morning, while the Palatinum restaurant offers seafood specialities and local wines. The hotel is near the SS106 and SS407 national roads, giving you great links to the major attractions in the regions of Basilicata and Puglia. Matera is 40 minutes' drive away.

“A great wayside hotel with restaurant & stair free access”
Excellent value hotel with restaurant beside the highway - perfect for an overnight stay on a longer trip. Free parking outside. Good soundproofing in rooms. The included continental breakfast was simple with delicious fresh seasonal fruit, choice of fresh local breakfast cakes & excellent coffee. Dinner was regional, tasty, prompt and good value. Friendly service. Hand held shower. Plastic stool in bathroom. Stair free access to hotel and rooms. Would stay again.

Location is next to the highway surrender by some older buildings so not top location but rooms, food service very high quality of hospitality. Rooms are simple clean and have all what you need. Restaurant very nice and recently renovated. Food very good quality/price you feel that the couple really care about you as a guest.

“Excellent stopover if visiting the ancient sites/museums of Metaponto and Policoro”
Located just off the main road but quiet, thanks to sound-proof windows, with a safe parking and good restaurant. Ideal for a stopover if visiting the nearby ancient greek Temple of Hera and the museums at Metaponto and Policoro.

“Comfortable hotel with friendly atmosphere”
Modern comfortable rooms and efficient and friendly staff. The location is the only negative as the adjacent properties are abandoned and run down.
