“Best place in Mestia”

David is a super caring host. Best place in Mestia to stay, super beautiful views. Nice room and shared spaces. It has good curtains, which you don’t find much in Georgia. We will come back. Thanks for everything!

David, the owner, was a charming, friendly, helpful and generally wonderful host. The whole guesthouse is spotlessly clean. On entry you arrive in the dining room which is always heated. From there you go through a courtyard with outdoor seating. It leads to the communal kitchen, there's always a kettle on the boil and free tea, cofee ,sweets ,apples and biscuits available.The six rooms are on 3 floors. Every room has it's own bathroom, however, 3 out of the six are just outside the room (these 3 are a little bit cheaper). We had a room on the 3rd floor, with out of room bathroom. To our mind the 3rd floor rooms are the best. A balcony, with table and chairs had stunning views to the old town, it's towers and the mountains. At night, lit up, it was particularly stunning. The outside bathroom (literally next to the room), had a heater and walk in shower. Toiletries provided. The room was spacious, heated by electric radiator (definitely needed when we were there) and had a sofa, table and stools. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Location ideal, slightly out of the main tourist area, just over the river bur only a 5 minute walk .Really couldn't have asked for more. Don't hesitate in booking...Highly, highly recommend.

“Big rooms with Beautiful views and kind host :-)”

I stayed in Spardishi >3 weeks in winter and its safe to say here you will get most amazing host and probably best panoramic views Mestia town has to offer. Davit was very nice, hospitable, caring and really flexible.Facilities were really clean and in cozy and fully equiped kitchen and nice new hallway room to sip tea or coffee. Compared to other guetshouses this one is calmer with more spacious rooms. Kitchen might get chilly in cold season in case you plan to cook. Coffee, tea included and offered all day long was nice bonus to have 😁

Great location just across the river, the beds and room were great! David the host was exceptional - he made the stay for us. Sit and chat with him over a cup of tea and you will hear some stories, he really makes an effort with every guest!

“Wonderful host”

Great guest house with fantastic views of the towers of Mestia. It's a little walk from the centre but not far. David (Dato) is a very lovely and helpful guy. Always wants to help and make your stay comfortable. He came to the road to meet me to help carry the snowboard bag when I arrived. He takes great care and pride in cleaning the place too. There is a communal kitchen and living room for cooking and eating. David supplies all tea coffee and some treats like chocolates and apples. He let me have free eggs too and kept offering me food which was very nice and welcome before/after snowboarding. The views from the balconies are simply fantastic. very.nice.hotel and host, recommend strongly

It was such a nice experience!! The owner is soo friendly it really felt like home. He gave us food, talked with us, gave us recommendations,… It was really clean as well!! One of the best stays I ever had! Would definitely recommend it

David is a wonderful host, very chatty and always keeps the kettle boiled for a fresh cup of tea/coffee :) The rooms are spacious and we enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of central Mestia. Very nice kitchen/dining room and outdoor spaces to relax in. Would highly recommend!

Very nice, clean and cozy accommodation with a homely atmosphere and a beautiful view of the town. But even more amazing was the host David who created a homely family environment for us. He was very helpful and attentive. He supplied us with fresh fruit, coffee and tea daily. He advised us on trips around the area.

I am really really really love this hotel!!! This is like my home in mestia! The host is a fun and great person,he could speak a little Chinese,and he is one of the most enthusiastic person I have ever met.The house is great,clean and comfortable,it has a great view of the mountains and river. It doesn’t provide food,but you could use the kitchen to cook whatever you want. And the bathroom is clean and convenient, it uses good shampoo. The host helps me a lot, we don’t have enough money except dollars,and he helps us with exchanging money. I swear to god it’s a wonderful hotel and recommend all of you to come! 中国人不骗中国人！

“Comfortable, nice view, friendly owner”

This is the second time I’ve stayed here over the past two years and throughly enjoyed my stay. Beds are comfortable and clean and there’s a balcony looking out to the town and the mountains. The owner is very friendly and helpful, helping us to get to Becho to start a hike. You also have access to a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Will definitely be back.

“The best host ever and amazing views oveer Mestia”

David is an exceptional host. He made me feel at home throughout my stay. He is the kindest host I have ever had - he gave me all the information about Mestia and Svaneti, took me on the tours himself (beginning of May is low season so he was available) and made sure I am having a great experience despite the sometimes difficult weather conditions. Feel free to ask him any questions about Svaneti and he will have the answers in the language that you speak 😊 I had a room with the balcony on the 3rd floor and the views over Mestia and the towers were amazing there. The room itself was comfortable and quiet. The shower and toilet are shared and are situated on the terrace (only 2 rooms share) . as i was the only one staying there I did not have to share with anyone. The only thing to keep in mind is that the terrace and staircase are metal and it is a good idea to have some slippers or flipflops to step out at night, as it might get cold. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. Electric heaters are provided in the rooms. Other facilities include a shared kitchen equipped with everything necessary (tea and coffee are provided), dining room and a sitting room with a TV and great view of the towers. I will definitely be back and bring my friends and family next time. Thank you very much David!

David is a warm-hearted, energetic person, and definitely the most hard-working person I've ever met. Everything here left a good impression on us. If you need to travel, for example to Ushguli , talk to David. We cooked here, chatted in the courtyard ，enjoyed the stars at night. An idyllic life. We met a new couple here and went hiking together. All these people are really wonderful persons. Thank you David!
