“Comfortable stay in Mestia”

- The hotel was very clean, well-renovated, and equipped with everything necessary, including disposable toothbrushes and slippers. - The breakfast was good. - The view from the windows was beautiful, although it naturally depends on the weather. - The location is not exactly in the very center, but since Mestia is a small town, it takes only about 15 minutes to walk to the center, which was perfectly fine for us. - There is also a separate lounge area on the fourth floor with a lovely view, where you can spend some time.

“Very disappointing.”

I usually never go wrong via booking since I choose high ratings. However, this was a total hit and miss. I arrived and asked where I could park. Inside, the reception girl said, you can open the gate. Not the slightest interest in helping or assisting. Okay. Undid the chains myself, opened, parked, closed and chained again. Then I received the key and ‘enjoy your stay’, no explanations at all. Umm where is my room? To the right. Where is breakfast? Downstairs. She asked me if I would want breakfast at 9 because other guests chose that time. What does that have to do with me? I have my own travel plans. The wifi I got after settling in, but she already left at that point, luckily it was written next to the counter. Then the room: very small (I even chose the 3 beds for more space), very hot (no aircon) and it was only May 9th. Broken toilet seat + toilet not flushing (see picture) after the first time, pillows where incredibly thick so sleeping was a nightmare, the mirror was awkwardly placed (for people with a maximum height of 1.70m?) and the rain shower was leaking. Curtains are basically not curtains, the sun is shining straight into the room so whenever the sun is up, your day starts since sleeping is no longer an option. Upon leaving in the morning: no reception. The breakfast was quite good and varied, it’s the only thing I enjoyed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gold Tower Hotel. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts are able to speak English to an extent which made it easier for us who don't speak Georgian. It was a great bonus to have a refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to each day. The hosts truly went above and beyond for us. They kindly arranged a shuttle to the airport, and when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled, the driver even called the bus station on our behalf. He helped us book two bus tickets and brought us back to the hotel, where the hosts welcomed us with coffee while we waited. The bus then picked us up directly from the hotel, which made everything so much easier during a stressful situation.The location is excellent — close to the town centre and very convenient. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

We had an excellent stay, especially for skiing. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, always ready to assist with ski transfers and any requests. The hotel offers stunning mountain views, which made our mornings and evenings very special. The rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and perfect to start a ski day. Great location, great service, and a wonderful place for a winter holiday. We would definitely come back

“The best place in Mestia🤍”

I highly recommend this hotel. I liked almost everything about this place. The staff are polite and friendly. The room is clean and cozy. The bed, pillows, and blankets are very comfortable — we slept like newborn babies. Breakfast was perfect and tasty, with many options to choose from. We have stayed in different places in Georgia, but this hotel is the best.

The stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The rooms are comfortable and clean, the atmosphere is warm and homely, and the location is excellent. Sophia, who welcomed us, was wonderful – she hosted us with a big smile, helped with everything, and made sure we felt at home. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mestia!

The rooms are very clean. The hotel is located a bit outside of the centre in a quiet area. The staff is very friendly, helped us organise a taxi to Mazeri and we could store the luggage there during our trip to Ushguli

This hotel is a true gem in the heart of the desert. It offers a remarkably cosy and welcoming atmosphere. However, the true treasure of this establishment is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Sophia. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to assist with any matter made our stay truly exceptional.

Cozy hotel with a homely atmosphere, convenient gated parking right in the courtyard, very friendly and helpful receptionist who gave great recommendations on places to visit in the area.

Great location, very good room, excellent breakfast… Sophia is extremely nice and she will do anything for you to have a great stay…I would definitely stay there again…

Safe to say that the hotel met our expectations! Coming to Georgia we wanted to experience its hospitality and Sophie - the amazing host - made sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Regarding our stay - everything was on point. The room was spacious and clean, it had a balcony with the view at the glacier and the mountains. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The hotel is located in a walking distance to the city center, giving you the opportunity to sightsee a bit, meet local dogs (extremely good boys!) or experience a herd of cows passing you by. It is a short walk though and complaints about the distance (stated in few previous comments) are - in my opinion - just funny. When we are back in Mestia we’ll definitely choose this hotel again 💜

The service was exceptionally warm and professional. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, and there was also an option to enjoy dinner for an additional fee – the dinner was generous and included a glass of house wine. The room was impeccably clean and offered a stunning view of the mountains. On the day of our departure, we were kindly provided with a transfer to the airport, which we greatly appreciated.

“Very comfortable room, excellent value fir money”

Big, comfortable and very clean room with fridge & small balcony, nice shower and excellent breakfast. After a day out it was nice to come back to our room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sofia, the manager / receptionist is a gem and she does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a very nice (inside) area on the top floor with a beautiful view on the mountains, where you can have a drink. Very good value for the price we paid.

Very good hotel with the extraordinary nice and friendly staff. Everything was perfect: good location, breakfasts included and dinners for extra payment. Its probably the most beautiful hotel in Mestia. Hipster design with Georgian touch, comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast. We stayed few days in Mestia before sind after hiking ad enjoyed it a lot. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all a great hotel.
