“Authentic Mestia gem”

Authentic Mestia feeling with a great host. Tasty food in the cafe and amazing view of the mountains and the towers. You can enter and go up in one of the towers and visit an old museum house for free. You need 15-20mins walking to the centre, the slope iat quite steep, but it's still worth it 👌

Most magical week! Had the absolute pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Lanchvali. The location is insanely beautiful, a little up on the hill with stunning views (and peace and quiet). Room was spotless and very comfortable. Hosts go above and beyond and are very knowledgable as to the surrounding Svaneti region - taking the time to help with questions on Mestia, the towers and museums, suggestions for hiking, as well as any transport queries or requests. Truly can't recommend enough. I hope to be back!

Nice location and good view. It’s a short climb from the centre but definitely worth it. The garden was very nice. Check in was super easy.

The guesthouse has a smart, relaxed, spacious vibe, the right mixture of traditional and modern. Perched on a hillside above Mestia, it's peaceful, leafy and has fantastic views.

The guesthouse is attractive, smart, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, helpful and generous. I particularly wanted comfortable warm accommodation for my long stay during winter, and this guesthouse has fitted the bill perfectly. The location is fantastic for those who appreciate peace, seclusion, an authentic (12th century!) setting and fabulous views, only 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Mestia. The walk up to the guesthouse from the town provides great training for more ambitious hikes!

Really lovely guesthouse - nicely situated just at the start of a lovely walking trail; delicious attached cafe; comfortable and clean room and bathroom; incredibly friendly atmosphere.

Very nice cosy guesthouse with a very good restaurant just next to it. Super friendly and welcoming staff!

Super kind host, very helpful. When we needed a transportation all got organized easily. They have old historical part of the house where the host took us on a tour and was good guide. Best kitchen and food we had during our stay in Georgia. They have very nice open balcony terracce with nice view over the town where one can have dinner. Rooms were clean and spaceful. Good location, hiking tracks to Koruldi Lakes start just behind the house.

Very picturesque location, cafe is near the guesthouse with tasty dishes and friendly staff. There are different board games in common space and telescope. Owners provided us with free excursion to swan tower and museum. This is the best price-quality ratio!
