Usually I never write reviews but today I should write one! The hotel was absolutely perfect! They celebrate my wife with a birthday, give our baby separate bed and all the people who works there absolutely ideal!

Absolutely everything from room size, bed comfort, location, room service etc

The service wax excellent. Very good breakfast. A bit outside of town center but the hotel provides very reliable transportation at any time during the day and night.

Very very helpful and friendly people work there! We forgot the wallet with all the documents in the locker and drove to Batumi. When we arrived we realized that our money and documents are left in Gistola hotel. Guys at the reception helped us to transfer the wallet to our hotel free of charge, very efficiently and quickly. We are so grateful!!

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains and Svan towers. The bed was very comfortable, and the swimming pool and solarium terrace were great as well. As other reviews mentioned, there were lots of children in the pool, but that’s perfectly normal in a family hotel and didn’t take away from the experience.

Gistola definitely lived up to the expectations we had. The pool area was perfect for unwinding, the room itself was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful. We were especially fond of the manager, Tedo’s pristine service. The breakfast buffet was delicious, fresh and varied. Also, their complimentary car service in and around Mestia was very handy, especially as we had a member of our group who was dealing with an injury.

The hotel is ok but the staff was extremely friendly. They helped with sorting out walks, arranged free shuttles from and to the city center, and we could have a good talk at the bar about Georgian history. And what was amazing for us: my wife forgot her hat in the hotel, the staff let us know, and transported it via plane to Tbilisi to have it delivered at our hotel there. Never had a service like this.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! First of all, the staff were amazing — especially the front desk manager Tedo, who went far beyond any expectations. We lost a piece of jewelry and he not only helped us find it, but even organized shipping to another country! Truly incredible. Tedo was always checking in with us, recommending places to visit, hikes, local dishes, and was always happy to help with restaurant bookings outside the hotel. So kind, professional, and genuinely caring — thank you so much! The location and the view from our window were simply magical. On cloudy days, the mountains are wrapped in clouds, a mountain river flows outside your window, and you sit there sipping delicious complimentary wine from the hotel — unforgettable experience! 💛 There’s also a sauna and a pool, and the pool has huge panoramic windows overlooking the peaks and green hills — just stunning. We fell in love with that view! As for breakfast — it may seem simple to very picky foodies, but everything was fresh, local, and really tasty. Plus, you can enjoy it on the terrace while taking in those amazing views I mentioned. We will definitely come back — thank you for such a beautiful and heartwarming stay!

The hotel is really good. Staff is nice and friendly. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast, restaurant meals and room service are excellent. We really enjoyed the tours managed by the hotel. Special thanks to Tedo for management and Beco for excellent driving and help in mountains. We stayed here previously and will definitely stay again.

It was one of the best places we have stayed in. We travel extensively. The warmth of this place and the beauty of the towers at night are haunting memories. We were stuck in a landslide. The hotel ensured an alternative vehicle on the other side of the debris was arranged. Logistically commendable. But most commendable is the hospitality of the manager and way he leads the team. I have no words to thank and express my gratitude for a wonderful stay

My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with our stay at Gistola. Price = Quality = Service – it’s a solid 100 out of 10! It was my wife’s birthday, so I reached out to the hotel manager with a request and a question about how we could pleasantly surprise her and make the occasion special. Manager Tedo was always in touch and handled our wishes and request with great care and attention. Both my wife and I were astonished and delighted when we saw what they had done for us. It was absolutely amazing and will definitely remain a cherished memory. The room was decorated with balloons as I had requested, they made a personalized greeting card, and even baked an entire cake—not just a slice, but a whole delicious and moist cake! They also included a bottle of champagne (even though I hadn’t asked for it!). The room was very warm and cozy, cleaned daily, with fresh towels, gels, and other essentials replaced every day. Overall, this place truly deserves its five-star rating. The transfer service was also remarkable—we were pleasantly surprised by how punctual and efficient it was. The car arrived promptly, and any request for transportation was fulfilled within five minutes. A big thanks to the drivers Vitali and Beki as well. We are already looking forward to returning here for our next vacation. Wishing you prosperity, growth, and kind guests!

The swimming pool was not working and we have received half room rate compensation at the check-out which was nice gesture from the hotel staff. The hotel restaurant offered good and quality menu. Bottle of original Gistola qvevri wine was prepared in the room as a complementary welcome drink.
