When we arrived in Iprali, we were delighted to find a guesthouse that felt perfect in every way. From the finely trimmed wooden cladding to the neatly arranged flower beds and garden, everything was beautifully maintained. The owners have clearly poured care into both design and practicality — power outages and cold showers, common elsewhere on the trek, seemed rare here. As we neared the end of our journey, Betegi offered the perfect balance of comfort and charm, helping us rest and recharge for the final stretch.

Amazing place in Ifrali, along the mestia ushguli hike. Stayed for a night on the way. Clean cozy rooms with wonderful views, delicious dinners and breakfasts. Very very recommended, especially for hikers.

This was our last guesthouse in our Mestia-Ushguli trek and was one of the best. A bit different from the other houses from before as it had less homestay feeling but actually after 3 days of trekking it felt good just to have a rest and have a beer with a beautiful view. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and a a lot. Definitely recommend!

“Cozy and comfortable”

Very nice decor and very comfortable beds. There is no heat, but the blankets are very thick. The property is beautiful and has a relatively modern feel. It is convenient to the trail and the host is able to coordinate taxis if needed. Dinner plus breakfast was 50GEL per person.

The place is great the room comfortable the showers( there are 2 ) had hot water and high pressure all day . Breakfast is very good as well.

Beautiful garden, best food we had on the trail, delightful hosts. Highly recommend stopping by.

The guesthouse has such a cozy vibe - either you sit on the downstairs terrace or on the balcony, you've got amazing views. The owners provide you with everything you need and are very kind. The room itself has everything you need and the beds are quite comfortable. The whole place is very clean. At additional cost you can have dinner and breakfast - we did both and the food was amazing!

Betegi is a simple and very clean guesthouse — just as you'd expect to find in the middle of a 4-day trail — but it was great! We enjoyed the stay immensely. The host ladies are lovely — very welcoming, and they fed us really well, preparing us for the next day of walking. The evening was so pleasant. There’s a veranda with a swing bench, and the view is incredibly relaxing. You really feel like you’re in the heart of the Caucasus.

The cleanest guesthouse we stayed at during our Mestia–Ushguli hike—everything was spotless and comfortable. The landlady is wonderfully hospitable, welcoming us with a warm smile and caring for every detail. The homemade food was delicious and plentiful, easily the best meals we had on the trek. EVERYTHING! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice and clean space, comfortable beds, warm at night, beautiful garden. Hosts are very friendly people. It's right at the enterence to the village and there's a nice view of it from a top balcony. They have an option to buy lots of different chocolates which comes in handy after a few days without sugar. We asked the hosts to make us some food for the trip and it waited for us in the morning.

The location is amazing. The mountain view is breathtaking. The food provided was great, and had chicken/meat. The host and their family are quite sweet.

-Food portions for sure too small and cold(in example 3 meat portion for four people) -No WiFi in the room(lady act likę she does not know that the WiFi is only in common room) -dimer half of the hour too late, - wrong small from showers, only two bathrooms for 17 people, - Toilets common with shower
