“An absolute disgrace”
The windows were nowhere near thick enough, and you can hear an enormous amount of street noise from the room. On top of that, the receptionist was on the phone very loudly from midnight until 2 a.m., laughing and talking loudly the entire time, which completely prevented me from sleeping since my room was on the first floor. Breakfast was supposed to be included until 10 a.m. I arrived at 9:45 a.m., but the server was nowhere to be seen — he was hiding in the storage room and I had to go find him myself. When he finally came out, he did not even say hello and simply told me that breakfast was closed. Seeing that I was understandably confused, he offered me a coffee and either a croissant or a brioche. I chose the brioche, which then took more than 30 minutes to arrive. This hotel is an absolute disgrace.

The bedroom is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, there is a small kitchen for making coffee, there is a balcony for drinking coffee and smoking, it is excellent.

“Hot !!”
Lovely hotel so well decorated and presented with an excellent breakfast. Unfortunately when we were there the air con had broken and was pumping out heat despite us asking for it to be turned off !

Amazing hotel. Friendly staff, nice decor, insanely comfy beds, great location, best breakfast ever. We especially enjoyed the granite ! I highly recommend, whether you travel with your kids, alone or as a couple.

“Amazing Stay”
Such an amazing place! First of all, biggest thanks to the fantastic receptionist Davide that is a lovely warm and entertaining soul who takes care of your perfect stay in the hotel and helps you with any question by heart. The room is super comfortable with everything you need- when you open the closet, a mini kitchen is hidden that you can use easily. The bathroom is spacious and with original Ortigia products that is a high luxury brand in Sicilia (smelled amazing and was a lovely add-on). The room itself was calm, no street noises, air-conditioned and comfortable bed. Another highlight was the breakfast that was included in my booking. You had the possibility to choose your order by a menu and it was full of possibilities. Loved the Bacon Sandwich and Brioche with Granita + friendly service. In addition the hotel is located in the city center, from Messina Centrale by Bus Nr. 100 only 5 mins to go. A lot of restaurants in the surrounding and a fantastic shopping street. All in all, I will definetely come back, felt super comfortable and safe as a solo traveller in this place. GRAZIE!

“A wonderful oasis in a big city.”
Excellent dog friendly small hotel with professional 24hr staff, wonderful decor and the best cotton sheets! We didn’t have a dog but they don’t discriminate and in walking distance to shopping, gelato, and the entertainment section of town which is beautiful. Plus an easy drive to the port in the morning.
