Absolutely perfect – the best place I’ve ever stayed! The apartment exceeded all our expectations. It was much more spacious than we imagined, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is unbeatable – just 10 meters from the beach! Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and family-like atmosphere. Everyone around was so friendly – people greeted us with smiles, and we really felt cared for. Our host also owns the restaurant right next door, which was a great bonus! We were regularly asked if everything was okay, and it genuinely felt like the hosts cared about our experience. I’ve stayed in many places, but this was by far the best. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

“Perfect place to stay in Messonghi”

We loved everything about Athena’s apartment: the cleanliness, attention to every small detail, and very hospitable reception! It is also much more spacier than you can judge from the photos.The apartment is located in 30 seconds from the sea, and right next to chill-out bar and the most delicious restaurant in Messonghi, that actually belongs to Athena’s family! Messonghi is quite small, so souvenir shops and big supermarkets are close by.

Athena was very friendly and welcoming. She provided us with cold water in the fridge. Coffee pods for the machine, tea and delicious ginger biscuits. We also were given beach towels. The accommodation was spacious and everything was newly fitted. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were big and they provided soap and shampoo. We loved our stay here! It is surrounded by Tavernas and bars and is a one minute walk to the beach. At night the area is very peaceful and respectful. We loved Dionysos Taverna On The Beach and thought it was the best restaurant in the area.

Lovely apartment. Clean plenty of facilities, a spacious living dining and kitchen area. Bed was comfortable and it had great air conditioning.

Been going to Messonghi for 40 years. Best accommodation I've stayed in. You have everything possible that you have at home. The fridge was stocked with water, beer, juice, butter, jam, honey. Coffee machine with coffee pods. Kettle, toaster, sandwich maker. Sweet jar, sugar jar. Washing machine with liquid and softener. Dishwasher with tablets. Towels, toilet rolls, flannels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton pads and cotton buds. Washing up liquid, cleaning spray, cloths, tea towels and fully stocked kitchen utensils, cutlery, cooking pots&pans, plates, bowls, cups, mugs. The lounge has a large sofa, table and 4 chairs. There is a TV but we could only get BBC World and the signal wasn't good. There are lots of stations but not English. Who wants to watch TV anyway! Immaculately clean. Air con in lounge and 2 double bedrooms. 2 shower rooms with sink and toilet. Sweet, cute private garden with plants, ornaments, table, 4 chairs and clothes airer. Athena , Petros and daughter Vicky could not do enough for us. Very attentive and their beautiful beachside restaurant opposite serving great food. The bus stop to Corfu town is 1 minute walk with regular buses, costs 2.40 euros one way and takes about 45 mins.

The owners were very warm and welcoming to us. Everything was arranged nice and comfortably. There was some coffee and breakfast snacks available when we entered the room so we did not even have to go shopping at the first night which made the arrival very relaxing. The family tavern operated by the apartment owners offered excellent food with sea view and the atmosphere was very welcoming as well. The beach is very close (~15m) so we could just take a quick swim without renting a set of sunbeds + umbrella.

It was lovely in every way. The apartment itself was perfectly finished with everything you need - modern, air conditioned, well stocked, spacious, pretty courtyard and perfectly positioned with an 8 second walk to the beach and the most charming tastefully decorated beach bar. Athena and her family were the most warm and hospitable hosts. We immediately felt at home and settled into the village’s rhythm.

The best stay you can ever find! The Appartement is so comfortable, nice and lovely. You have literally everything you need. And the care of the owners is amazing. You will get all help and support for any question you may have. The Appartement is very clean and everything is thought out to the details, so you’ll feel like home. All looks exactly as on photos. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony is so cozy. The location is more than perfect: the sea, nice tavernas, shops and bus station is all 1 minute walk. Will definitely recommend and will come again!

A wonderful bright and spacious apartment! the host kindly met us to show us around and make us feel at home. very clean and had all the necessary utensils/ cooking supplies/ snacks etc. even had two beers in the fridge! very close to main area and beach bars. A lovely homely atmosphere! great value - we would definitely return!
